    Job Summary

    The Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing the physical condition, maintenance, and operational efficiency of all company sites. This role requires regular site visits to assess facility needs, coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance programs, and ensure all systems and equipment remain safe, compliant, and fully operational. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver with strong technical knowledge and vendor management skills. We are looking for someone who is adaptable, eager to grow with the role, and willing to take on new challenges as our facilities needs evolve.

    Key Responsibilities

    Site Management & Inspections

    Serve as the primary point of contact for site-level facility concerns including emergency response to urgent issuesConduct regular visits to all assigned locations to assess facility conditions (internal and external, as applicable), identify issues, and prioritize maintenance needsMaintain detailed records of site conditions, maintenance history, and upcoming service schedulesPerform minor repairs and handiwork as needed

    HVAC & Mechanical Systems

    Schedule and oversee annual HVAC inspections, filter replacements, and preventive maintenance contractsCoordinate emergency HVAC repairs and ensure timely resolution of climate control issuesManage regular maintenance and inspections of other mechanical systems including generators, plumbing (e.g., fixtures, piping, water heaters, backflow preventers) and electrical systems (e.g., panels, lighting, outlet checks, code compliance)

    Property Services & Janitorial Oversight

    Manage janitorial service contracts and ensure cleaning standards are met across all sitesConduct periodic quality and recordkeeping audits and address deficiencies with service providersOversee specialty cleaning needs (carpet cleaning, pressure washing, post-construction cleanup, etc.)Oversee landscaping and other property services as applicable (snow removal, etc.)

    Vendor & Contractor Management

    Source, vet, and manage relationships with contractors, service vendors, and suppliersObtain and compare bids for maintenance contracts and repair projectsEnsure all vendors carry appropriate licensing and insurance and comply with safety requirements

    Budgeting & Compliance

    Assist in developing the annual facilities maintenance budget and track expendituresEnsure facilities meet applicable building codes, fire safety regulations, ADA requirements, and OSHA standardsMaintain documentation for all inspections, permits, and compliance certifications

    Lease Management & Development Support

    Maintain a centralized database of all facility leases, including key dates such as commencement, expiration, renewal options, and rent escalation schedulesReview lease terms to understand landlord vs. tenant maintenance responsibilities and ensure obligations are met on both sidesServe as the primary liaison with landlords and property managers for day-to-day facility issues, lease administration, and dispute resolutionSupport site development and exit processes, including condition assessments, punch lists, maintenance schedules, vendor contracts, as-built drawings, site handoff documents, and move-in/out requirements

    Qualifications

    3–5 years of experience in facilities management, building operations, or a related fieldWorking knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systemsExperience managing vendors and service contractsFamiliarity with lease administration concepts including CAM reconciliations, rent escalations, and landlord-tenant obligationsExperience supporting or participating in new construction or tenant improvement projects preferredValid driver's license and willingness to travel to multiple sites regularly with potential to travel on short notice for time-sensitive situationsStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyProficiency with facilities management software or CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) a plusAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field preferred; relevant certifications (CFM, FMP) a plus

    Working Conditions

    This position requires frequent travel between sites and periodic work in mechanical spaces, outdoors, and in varying environmental conditions. Some after-hours or weekend availability may be required for emergency response.

    Compensation

    $90,000 - $120,000 per year. Negotiable based on skills and experience.

    Position Summary

    The Vascular Care Group is seeking a Director, Clinical Information Systems, to lead the planning, governance, and optimization of our clinical technology ecosystem, including EMR, PACS/DICOM, patient intake software, and other key systems supporting our outpatient vascular centers.

    As an Epic Community Connect organization affiliated with major hospital partners, The Vascular Care Group operates in a shared EMR environment that requires strong collaboration, integration, management, and governance across multiple entities. Additionally, we operate on Athenahealth, requiring unified leadership across both EMR platforms to ensure consistency in workflows, reporting, and compliance.

    This leadership role requires extensive experience in bridging hospital and ambulatory settings, with a proven ability to align clinical technology with organizational strategy, regulatory requirements, and clinician efficiency.

    Key Responsibilities

    Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the long-term roadmap for EMR and clinical applications across TVCG's multi-site outpatient network.Epic Community Connect Management: Serve as TVCG's primary liaison with hospital affiliates and Epic host organizations, overseeing governance participation, integration, and change management.Athenahealth Oversight: Lead the strategy, optimization, and support of Athenahealth across applicable sites, ensuring interoperability, consistent workflows, and data alignment with the broader clinical systems ecosystem.Clinical Systems Oversight: Manage all clinical systems, including EMR, PACS/RIS, patient intake, and ancillary platforms supporting patient intake, imaging, and care coordination.Interoperability & Integration: Direct efforts to enhance data exchange across systems (Epic, Athenahealth, PACS, labs, imaging, HIEs) using HL7, FHIR, and other interoperability standards.Operational Excellence: Partner with clinical and administrative leadership to ensure technology supports care quality, efficiency, and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, 21 CFR Part 11, CMS).Team Leadership: Manage a high-performing team of analysts and application specialists responsible for operations, upgrades, and end-user support.Vendor & Partner Management: Oversee relationships with EMR and clinical application vendors, including Epic host organizations, Athenahealth, Phreesia, and PACS providers.Change & Optimization: Drive workflow improvement and clinician satisfaction through data-driven enhancements and best practice adoption.Compliance & Security: Collaborate with Information Security and Compliance teams to maintain cybersecurity and privacy standards across all clinical applications.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Health Informatics, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.Minimum 7-10 years of progressive experience in healthcare IT leadership with oversight of EMR and clinical applications in hospital and/or ambulatory environments.Demonstrated experience with Epic Community Connect management, governance participation, and downstream integration management.Strong background in Athenahealth administration, optimization, and multi-practice deployment.Proven track record in multi-site EMR strategy, interoperability, and vendor coordination.Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.In-depth understanding of clinical workflows, healthcare compliance frameworks, and data governance.

    Preferred Experience

    About the Opportunity

    Vascular Breakthroughs is seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial executive to build and scale our existing clinical trials business.
    Our current clinical research operations are embedded within eight Office-Based Laboratories (OBLs) and focus exclusively on vascular device trials. This role represents a unique opportunity to expand that platform—both geographically and across new clinical areas—by establishing a broader infrastructure and network capable of managing device-based trials in partnership with hospitals, health systems, and external investigators. The role will work closely with executive leadership, physician leadership, and current clinical trials leadership, including the Vice President of Clinical Operations and Executive Chairman.

    Key Responsibilities

    Strategic Development & Leadership

    Design and execute a comprehensive strategy to evolve the current OBL-based research program into a full-scale SMO/CRO.Define organizational structure, processes, and governance to support scalable, compliant, and efficient multi-site operations.Build partnerships with hospital systems, physician groups, device manufacturers, and early-stage device companies to broaden the trial portfolio.

    Operational Expansion

    Lead site identification, activation, contracting, budgeting, and strategic planning across hospital systems, outpatient centers, and external investigator sites.Mature the existing functional architecture (clinical operations, regulatory, data, monitoring, site management, quality assurance, vendor management, etc.).Advance centralized operations for data management, monitoring, and regulatory oversight.Identify and onboard additional research sites and investigators beyond Vascular Breakthroughs' current footprint.

    Business Development

    Develop relationships with sponsors and CROs seeking high‑quality, device-focused research sites.Build the commercial model, pricing structure, and growth strategy for the new SMO/CRO business unit.Represent Vascular Breakthroughs' research capabilities at conferences, advisory boards, and industry partnership forums.

    Cross-Specialty & Device Trial Expansion

    Lead efforts to diversify research beyond vascular interventions into adjacent procedural or surgical device categories.Maintain focus on device trials while leveraging existing operational efficiency and physician expertise in outpatient procedural care.

    Leadership & Culture

    Recruit, mentor, and develop clinical research and operations teams.Foster a culture of scientific integrity, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.

    Qualifications

    10+ years of experience in business leadership, including at least 5 years (preferred) in leadership roles within a CRO, SMO, or sponsor-side research operations.Deep understanding of device trial operations, ideally with experience in vascular, endovascular, interventional radiology, or related device areas.Experience managing clinical partnerships across outpatient centers, hospitals, and integrated health systems.Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in a growth‑stage organization.Exceptional relationship management, communication, and operational strategy skills.
