Job Summary:
As a member of our kitchen staff at Mango Mango Dessert, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and the delivery of high-quality desserts to our customers. You will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, and contributing to a positive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the preparation of desserts according to recipes and standards.
2. Follow proper food handling and safety procedures at all times.
3. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment, utensils, and workstations.
4. Assist in inventory management, including stock rotation and replenishment.
5. Collaborate with other kitchen staff and management to ensure efficient workflow and timely service.
6. Uphold health and safety regulations and sanitation standards.
7. Monitor and report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions promptly.
8. Assist with receiving and storing deliveries as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in a dessert shop.
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and safety practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
