Opportunity We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Director of Content Marketing to help execute a company-wide content strategy that supports brand positioning, demand generation, and revenue growth across the Firm. This role sits at the intersection of brand, product marketing, and growth, offers a unique opportunity to partner closely with business unit leaders and client account groups to drive market impact and revenue growth. The Director of Content Marketing will lead the firm's content strategy and execution, overseeing the development of high-impact content that strengthens brand positioning, supports business development, and advances firm priorities. This role will build scalable content programs, partner cross- functionally with business development, marketing and business leadership, and serve as the steward of the firm's voice and thought leadership in the market. This role reports to the Senior Director Marketing and Communications and plays a significant leadership role within the Client Development and Marketing team. Core Responsibilities Content Strategy & Execution * Own the firm's end‑to‑end content marketing strategy, including vision, priorities, themes, channels, and success metrics. * Lead the development and execution of an integrated content marketing strategy that aligns with firm priorities, strengthens brand positioning, and supports business growth objectives. * Monitor content performance and engagement metrics, using insights to continuously refine strategy and demonstrate impact. * Build strategies to create and amplify firm thought leadership, including white papers, newsletters, client alerts, and marketing collateral, in collaboration with communications and branding teams to support client development efforts Thought Leadership & Brand Storytelling * Build and scale a repeatable content engine, including editorial standards, production workflows, and governance models that ensure quality, consistency, and efficiency. * Serve as steward of the firm's brand narrative and voice across owned content channels, ensuring clarity, consistency, and authority in the market * Serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, translating business priorities into effective content strategies and initiatives. Distribution * Partner closely with marketing, business development, and firm leadership to align content initiatives with campaigns, client priorities, and go‑to‑market strategies. * Develop strategies to position practices nationally and work with professionals to market services and expertise both externally and within the Firm. * Develop content programs that support awareness, engagement, and business development efforts across the full client lifecycle. * Support firm thought leadership and visibility by developing content that amplifies speaking engagements, publications, and leadership initiatives in partnership with BD and Communications teams. Data, Budgeting and Operations * Grow and segment the firm's client and industry contact database to support targeted campaigns, and publications. * Develop and manage content related project plans and budgets, ensuring on time delivery, fiscal discipline, and alignment with firm priorities. Qualifications * At least 10-12+ years in content marketing or related fields. * Prior people leadership experience * Experience operating at enterprise scale * Effective influencing senior stakeholders and executives * Minimum of a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, business, or a related field. * Experienced team leader with demonstrated success driving high-performance collaboration. * A team player who brings positive, can-do energy to their role and the team. * Excellent spoken, written communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills. * Experience leveraging CRM and analytics tools (e.g., Salesforce) to inform content strategy and performance measurement. * Forward-thinking, results-oriented, deliverables-driven strategic thinker and self-starter with the ability to balance long-term strategic vision and effective day-to-day execution. * Technologically savvy with demonstrated proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word. * Superb project and process management skills with the consistent ability to meet deadlines. * Extremely detail oriented and a strong sense of accountability and ownership of work products. * Possess exceptional judgement, professionalism, and confidentiality. * Commitment to exceptional internal and external client service. * Demonstrated reliability and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a hybrid (remote and in-office) team environment. The base annual pay range for this role is between $160,000-$250,000. The base pay to be offered will vary and depend on skills and qualifications, experience and location.
