2nd Shift: Monday–Friday | 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
Overtime: Must be available for overtime, including potential Saturdays
We’re hiring two reliable and experienced Sit-Down Forklift Operators for a well-established company in Elgin, IL. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with long-term potential. Qualified candidates will be interviewed by the onsite supervisors prior to placement.
Job Responsibilities:
Operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently
Load and unload materials
Move products throughout the facility
Keep work areas clean and organized
Follow all safety protocols and procedures
Requirements:
Recent sit-down forklift experience required
Ability to work full-time with flexibility for overtime and Saturdays
Dependable, with strong work ethic and punctuality
Must pass an interview and screening process

What You'll Do Complete pre-use equipment checks before operating machinery.Move materials from the Processing area to the Shipping Department Spurs.Retrieve pallets of boxes from outdoor staging areas.Replenish supplies daily as needed.Offload arriving vendor trucks and stage pallets in the shipping yard.Print SKU labels.Palletize cases.Maintain a clean, safe work environment. What You Bring At least 6 months of experience on at least two of the following: Stand-up forklift, Reach Truck, Pallet Jacks, Turret Forklifts.Comfort working in a fast-paced distribution environment.Ability to follow direction from managers/supervisors.CAL OSHA certification on the specified forklift equipment.
