In this role, you will travel to customers’ homes and businesses, install new appliances, and diagnose and repair their existing appliances. Responsibilities
Respond to client requests for appliance serviceEvaluate and diagnose home appliance problemsEstimate the costs of appliance repair, service, and installationRepair appliancesProvide preventative maintenance and warranty servicesAdhere to manufacturer recommendationsTeach homeowners how to operate their appliancesMaintain accurate and detailed recordsQualifications
High school diploma/GEDAssociate degree or appliance repair certification preferredPrevious experience as an Appliance Repair Technician is preferredValid driver’s licenseEPA 608 refrigerant recovery certification to work on air conditioners and refrigerators is preferredPhysical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objectsExcellent customer service skills
