    Necessary Qualifications and Skills


    2-3 years of experience in a full-time Dental Assistant capacity, having developed an ease of chairside assistance and back office supportActive Dental Assistant certification in the state of NYComfortable taking X-rays, making temporaries, impressions, and removing suturesGeneral understanding of standard dental software, including Dexis and EaglesoftExcellent communicator - must be fluent in both English and SpanishA self-starting team player - youre there to help when needed, but also own your work without direct supervisionPreferred Qualifications


    Active Dental Assistant certification in NJX-ray certification in NY and/or NJConversant in French CreoleAccountabilities


    End-to-end chairside assistance, from pre-op prep to post-op clean upProfessional and compassionate patient management - understanding the different needs of our patient community and responding to their inquiries with compassionImparting in patients a deeper care for their oral health - by offering at-home instructions or recommending procedures that would benefit the patient (i.e. invisalign, whitenings)Taking x-raysMaking temporaries and taking impressionsRemoving suturesKeeping our office spotless - understanding standard sterilization and cleansing procedures and executing them without oversightManage back-office patient flow to ensure were seeing patients as efficiently and effectively as possibleStock management, ensuring all operatories are fully stocked and orders are placed to suppliers in a timely mannerEntering of procedure codes and chart notes into our software for doctors, when the need arisesAbout Us

    Among our team members are several experienced doctors, including Dr. Patti and Dr. Suero, both graduates of Columbia University, with over 30 years of training and experience in North Jersey. Dr. Patti specializes in pediatric dentistry, while Dr. Suero focuses on serving the underserved Latinx community.
