Full Time Counselor/Therapist Supervisor
Mahajan Therapeutics is looking for hard-working and conscientious Therapist/Counselor Supervisor to perform various administrative tasks with a keen eye for detail. Works under the supervision of the Clinical Director and provides clinical and work supervision to mental health therapists.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide leadership, program development, education, coordination, training, direction, and supervision to the mental health therapy staff. Meet all applicable state (OMHAS), CARF, and Medicaid standards at all timesProvide clinical and work supervision to therapists to ensure quality care and staff competence as those individuals function in the agency. To ensure that the services meet all applicable state (OMHAS) standards at all times.Preform various diagnostic and assessment procedures, as well as provide supervision to other staff members in diagnostic and assessment services. To ensure that the services meet all applicable state (OMHAS) standards at all times.Ensure adequate preparation of the counseling and psychotherapy program in the event of any disaster or other type of critical incidentConducting periodic reviews, in consultation with administrator of existing agency policies and procedures, assisting administrator in the drafting and submitting of proposed changes for Board’s consideration.Maintaining contact with family members/guardians, referral sources, and authorized outside sources, as necessary, in regard to various issues regarding treatment activities/progress.Qualifications:
Required Licensure: LISW, LPCC-S, or LICDC (Candidates with newly acquired licenses are encouraged to apply)Preference shall be given to individuals possessing Ohio Independent Licensure. The Case Manager’s primary job function is to enhance the overall treatment process by assisting therapists to meet the overall treatment needs of clients. Performs other duties as assigned.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Act as a liaison between therapist, the referring agency, and family of the client. Arrange family visits, coordinate transportation, and insure clients’ needs are met.Ensure communication between family, referral source and Mahajan therapeutics is agreeable and ongoing.Attend court hearings as deemed appropriate.Attend treatment staffing with prepared report that accurately represents client’s response to treatment.Facilitate individual and group CSP as assigned.Attend supervisory sessions with prepared agenda.Assistance in achieving personal independence in managing basis needs as identified by the client and/or parent or guardian.Facilitation of further development of daily living skills, if identified by the client and/or parent or guardianQualifications:
Experience working with adolescents, adults, emotionally disturbed population, or addiction is preferred.Must have a CDCA. Interact in a pleasant and professional manner with other employees, physicians, providers, patients, and patient’s families to promote a team effort through cooperation and respect for fellow employees.Organizational skills, writing, speaking clearly, answering telephone, fine dexterity, handling and gripping.Calculating, interpreting information, analyzing, assessing, evaluating, explaining, teaching, attention to detail, memory and reasoning.Satisfactory drug screen and background checks.Benefits:
