    Job Overview
    We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Lead Carpenter to oversee and coordinate various construction and restoration projects. The ideal candidate will possess management skills, extensive hands-on experience in multiple facets of construction, and the ability to manage teams effectively on-site. This role involves supervising project execution, ensuring safety standards, and maintaining high-quality workmanship across diverse projects including remodeling, restoration, and new commercial construction.

    Duties


    Lead and supervise construction crews in tasks such as framing, carpentry, roofing, siding, drywall installation, and finishing work.Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution.Oversee the use of hand tools, power tools to complete tasks efficiently.Coordinate material procurement, delivery schedules, and ensure proper storage on-site.Perform heavy lifting and assist with complex tasks such as concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, plumbing, electrical wiring, and tile laying.Ensure all work adheres to safety protocols and building codes; conduct regular safety inspections.Manage individual project timelines, quality control, and troubleshoot issues as they arise during construction or restoration projects.Communicate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to facilitate smooth project flow.Maintain detailed documentation of project progress and communicate updates to stakeholders.Requirements


    Proven experience in construction estimating, framing carpentry, trim carpentry, drywall installation, roofing, siding, flooring installation, tile laying, electrical work or related fields.Some knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, metal stud framing, plastering, caulking, stucco application, water damage restoration, mold remediation, fixture installation, cabinet installation and door hanging.Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, fabrication equipment and heavy machinery.Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks for extended periods.Prior experience working on construction sites with a solid understanding of safety procedures.Excellent management skills with the ability to direct teams effectively while maintaining high standards of quality.Strong communication skills for coordinating with clients and team members.Relevant certifications or licenses related to construction trades are preferred but not mandatory.     Proven experience as a service technician or installer specializing in low voltage systems such as CCTV, security systems, fire alarms, or telecommunication infrastructure.Strong knowledge of computer networking, computer hardware, system design, schematics, sensors, IDS, CCTV systems, alarm systems sales, security protocols, remote access software, locksmithing, construction practices, surveillance technology, NEC standards, cabling techniques, and power tools.Mechanical knowledge related to system installation and maintenance is preferred.Ability to work independently in the field with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards.Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on troubleshooting complex electrical or network issues.Valid drivers license required for travel between job sites; some positions may require working in various environments including construction sites or existing facilities.Prior experience working with fire alarm systems and telecommunication infrastructure is highly desirable.
