    Possesses applicable certifications as required by stateA minimum of one-year relevant experience working with older adults (priority given)Ability to communicate effectively (in English), both verbally and in writing with residents and staffMust be able to regularly life and/or move up to 50 pounds independently and up to 190 pounds with assistance of a second employee and/or mechanical devices.

Atlanta’s fast-paced labor market requires a Business Office Manager who is organized, proactive, and confident managing both financial operations and people processes.

    About the Role

    As the Business Office Manager, you will oversee the community’s financial systems, HR compliance, payroll, and administrative operations. You’ll partner closely with the Executive Director and department leaders to ensure accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and smooth HR processes. You will also support Talent Acquisition activities and may serve as Interim Executive Director when needed.

    What You’ll DoAccounting & Financial OperationsManage monthly billing, collections, and cash controlsOversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accuracyVerify and submit bi-weekly payroll; track PTO and ensure complianceMaintain resident, vendor, employee, and financial filesEnsure accurate move-in/move-out billing and contract completionServe as a subject matter expert on key operating systemsHuman Resources OversightEnsure compliance with Georgia and federal wage & hour lawsCoordinate new hire onboarding, state-required reports, and orientationMaintain HRIS personnel data and licensing/training recordsPartner with People & Culture on employee relations and policy complianceSupport leaders in coaching, documentation, and policy educationTalent Acquisition SupportMaintain accurate job postings across platformsTrack posting performance and collaborate on improvementsCoordinate interviews and hiring workflows with managersPrepare job offers and support onboarding schedulingProvide regular updates on recruiting progress and open rolesWhat You BringQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business Management or Accounting or Associate degree with 2–3 years of experience or 3–5 years of related experienceStrong communication, analytical, and organizational skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office, accounting systems, and HRISAbility to interpret financial reports, regulations, and policiesStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailRequiredValid driver’s licenseAbility to meet PSL Background Check and Safe Driving Policy requirementsWhy This Role Works Well in Atlanta
