This position is covered by the McNamara-O’Hara Service Contract Act (SCA) and is subject to the applicable U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) wage determination. Compensation, fringe benefits, and applicable paid leave will be provided in accordance with the SCA wage determination incorporated into the governing federal contract. The minimum hourly wage and health & welfare fringe benefit rate are set by the DOL and may be adjusted in accordance with contract modifications or updated wage determinations.

Impact Summary:
As a Wiring Technician IV, you will leverage advanced technical skills to perform complex wiring tasks on aircraft systems, enhancing operational efficiency and compliance with standards. Your role is critical in leading and mentoring junior technicians ensuring that wiring installations and repairs meet stringent quality and safety standards. Responsibilities:
· Perform installation, modification, repair, and maintenance of aircraft electrical wiring harnesses, cables, and associated components.
· Conduct thorough visual and functional inspections of electrical installations and modifications on aircraft at various stages of the project.
· Inspect wiring harnesses, cable assemblies, and connector installations to ensure they meet engineering drawings and quality standards.
· Verify that all electrical work is performed in strict accordance with engineering drawings, technical specifications, and quality control procedures.
· Identify, document, and report any defects, discrepancies, or non-conformance issues using established quality management systems.
· Work directly with aircraft maintenance technicians and engineers to identify root causes of quality issues and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively.
· Provide technical guidance and leadership to junior technicians, ensuring adherence to established procedures and standards.
· Coordinate with project engineers and designers to resolve any issues related to electrical wiring tasks.
· Plan and determine the requirements for manufacturing, kitting, or repair projects, including facilities, equipment, and personnel needs.
· Ensure all work complies with technical guidelines and quality standards and is completed according to project timelines.
· Maintain meticulous and accurate inspection records, logs, and supporting documentation for all completed work.

Requirements:Qualifications:
· High School diploma or equivalent required.
· Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in electrical wiring or a related field.
· Strong background in aircraft electrical systems, wiring practices, and modification procedures.
· Must have IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.
· Familiarity with relevant aerospace and electrical quality standards (e.g., IPC/WHMA-A-620) is highly desirable.
· Extensive experience and technical knowledge of aircraft systems is highly preferred.
· Proficient in reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.
· Exceptional focus on precision and accuracy to ensure the highest level of quality and safety.
· Ability to analytically troubleshoot and diagnose quality issues in a logical and effective manner.
· Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills for documenting findings and collaborating with the team.
· Ability to receive and maintain government-required clearances and certifications.

Salary Information:
The estimated salary range for this position will be $43.61- $52.00 per hour based on the successful candidates experience, qualifications, and skill set.

Conduct receiving, in-process, and final inspections per work order instructions and technical specifications. Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) and document results using AS9102 formats. Verify compliance of parts and subassemblies against engineering, process, and customer requirements. Maintain traceability of inspection records, calibration logs, and quality documentation. Identify non-conformances and support the generation of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Corrective/Preventive Action Reports (C/PARs). Assist in readiness activities for internal and external audits (e.g., AS9100 surveillance, customer inspections). Participate in mock audits and internal compliance reviews.
