    SUMMARY

    Warehouse Associates support designated System by properly maintaining the quantity of available inventory, and materials in the warehouse. Ensuring that all Technicians have what is needed for each installation job.


    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES

    Keep warehouse organized, clean and safe.Distribute necessary equipment and materials to Technicians on a daily basis or as needed.May periodically drive to other locations to receive new equipment and return used equipment.Inspect and properly disposition all equipment returned by Technicians.Monitor quantity of supplies to ensure adequate supplies of necessary parts, equipment or materials are on hand for the upcoming workload and supply levels as determined by senior management.Assist in locating equipment that appears as 'charge backs'.Assist with maintenance and cleanup of grounds around building as needed.Follow all required company & OSHA safety rules.Other duties as assigned.

    Inventory Management: Ability to manage and track inventory accurately, including receiving, storing, and distributing cable products and equipment.Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of cable products, equipment, and materials commonly used in the industry.Order Fulfillment: Skill in picking, packing, and shipping accurately and efficiently.Safety Awareness: Awareness of safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment, including knowledge of proper handling and storage of materials.Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and move heavy items, as well as stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.Attention to Detail: Precision in checking and verifying inventory quantities, product codes, and order details to minimize errors.Teamwork: Capacity to work collaboratively with colleagues in a fast-paced warehouse environment to meet deadlines and achieve objectives.Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with coworkers, supervisors, and possibly delivery personnel.Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot issues related to inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, or shipment delays.Basic Computer Skills: Proficiency in using basic computer programs or warehouse management systems for inventory tracking and order processing.Time Management: Efficiently manage time to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, work schedules, and job duties as needed in a dynamic warehouse environment.


    SKILLS

    Communicate effectively with co-workers; verbal and written communication including internal e-mails.Self-motivation and good time management are all essential.Ability to read and interpret operating instructions and procedures.Possess basic mathematical skills, capacity for making rational choices, understanding and the ability to resolve problems in standardized situations.Knowledge of computer systems and proprietary programs used for inventory management.Critical thinking and the ability to troubleshoot technical difficulties.Must be able to operate a forklift.



    EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS

    High School or GED preferred.Previous experience is preferred but not necessary, training will be provided.Proficiency with MS Word & Excel.Valid driver's license and acceptable driving recordRequires the successful completion of all pre-employment testing



    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    Must possess the ability to climb a ladder, stoop and regularly lift/carry up to 50 lbs., occasionally work at heights up to 15 FT.Wrap, pack and relocate materials on pallets.Ability to use manual and powered material handling equipment.Work performed indoors and on occasion, outdoors.

    SUMMARY

    Technicians install and service telephone, security, video, and internet systems, troubleshoot issues, and educate customers.


    Important information:

    Work Type: In-person only (remote work not available).Residency: Applicants must live within daily commuting distance. No relocation assistance is provided.Compensation: U.S.-based employment only; pay in U.S. Dollars.

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES

    Working for FHG requires travel if other markets are in need. Complete all installations according to company and industry standards.Accurately complete daily reports and paperwork.Acquire and return equipment as directed.Maintain tools and vehicles; report any maintenance issues.Communicate with Dispatch on arrivals, departures, and any delays. Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and immediately report maintenance issues to the Fleet Manager, if operating a company vehicle. Job requires local travel 100% of the time. Technical development training/certification is required; successful completion is mandatory to remain an active employee.Follow all company & OSHA safety rules.Other duties as assigned.

    SKILLS

    Install residential/commercial video, HSI, CDV, HSD installation knowledge (training provided).Strong customer service, time management and communications abilities.Due to the nature of our customer base, fluency in English (speaking and understanding) is required. Read and interpret operating instructions and procedures.Basic math, computer, and troubleshooting skills. (Navigating and adjusting operating systems).Ability to identify and troubleshoot CATV technical difficulties.Manage time effectively, efficiently, and work independently.

    EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS

    High School or GED preferred.Be at least 21 years old.Hold a valid driver's license.Have a minimum of three (3) years of driving history. Maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations is required. Note: Insurance carriers may review up to seven (7) years of driving history to determine eligibility.Due to the sensitive nature of our work inside customers' homes and businesses, all applicants must pass a comprehensive criminal background check. Felony convictions will result in disqualification. Misdemeanors will be evaluated individually; however, offenses involving theft, assault, battery, or drug distribution within the past seven (7) years will result in disqualification.

    COMPENSATION
