    JOB DESCRIPTION PLUMBING PROJECT MANAGER:

     

    Manage commercial Plumbing projects from start to completion to include preparation of infield coordination, purchasing of material, leasing equipment and scheduling employees.

     

    Work with clients, design professionals and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

     

    Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, scope of work outlines, equipment information to ensure all aspects of a project align with the client's needs, industry standards, code requirements and design intent

     

    Review site conditions with field trades to address any challenges to completion of work delivery of equipment & materials on site

     

    Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications

     

    Maintain regular communication with the client's management team, and adjust schedule and manpower requirements as needed

     

    Facilitate and track change orders in a timely fashion


    PLUMBING ASSITANT PROJECT MANAGER:


    Work in conjunction with Project managers, facilitate and track change orders, schedules, and safety data submissions for jobs. Issue subcontract agreements. Must have good typing and communications skills, with excellent follow up. Willing to train the right person. This is a fast paced environment.

     

     

    REQUIREMENTS:

     

    Minimum 10+ years' experience in construction management for commercial Plumbing Projects

     

    Proven experience with managing commercial Plumbing and projects ranging from $1M to $20M

     

    Strong ability to read and interpret construction documents and execute project based on scope of work requirements, specifications and schedules


    Excellent organizational, leadership and communication skills 


    Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently 


    Good computer skills with strong working knowledge of Word, Adobe, Excel & Outlook

    Excellent written and verbal skills

    Extremely Busy Plumbing & Fire Suppression Outfit looking for Plumbing & Sprinkler Estimators.


    Job Overview

    We are looking for seasoned plumbing & Sprinkler estimators for a high profile, high volume plumbing & fire suppression company. The ideal candidates will have a background in plumbing & fire suppression and estimating with the ability to analyze drawings and specifications and provide accurate pricing for various plumbing & sprinkler projects.  Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and meet critical deadlines. Knowledge of design build for fire suppression systems and knowledge of code a must on fire suppression.

     

    Estimating & Technical Work

     

    Prepares detailed plumbing & fire suppression estimates using software programs such as Quote Soft.

    Review plans, specifications, contract documents, and addenda and site photos to prepare estimates.

    Prepare leveling sheets, spreadsheets, pricing breakdowns, and supporting documentation for bids.

    Solicits and analyzes subcontractor and vendor quotes for completeness, accuracy, and spec requirements

     

    Project & Client Interface

     

    Participates in pre-bid job walks, site investigations, and pre-bid meetings to validate review scope and gain an overview of bidding and project requirements.

    Aids in value engineering when applicable and design schematics for sprinkler.

    Prepare bid submission proposals and required documents

     

    Upon award, review project with PM’s and project accountants, create SOV’s, during project duration, reviews bulletins and addenda to help formulate change orders

     

    Minimum 5-7 years of MEP experience in estimating or project management.

    Proficiency in estimating strategies, cost modeling, scheduling, budgeting, and job costing.

    Understanding of construction methods, safety considerations, and contract structures.

    Ability to read and interpret complex plans and specifications.

    Experience using estimating software, Microsoft Excel and MS WORD

    Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.

    Ability to coordinate multiple priorities and perform under tight deadlines.
