As a Warehouse & Delivery Driver, you will execute operations stocking & preparing orders of building materials for distribution to a network of customers. Customer service and team-oriented focus are of utmost importance. Your work environment will consist of inside and outside work areas. Each type of loading and unloading requires strict attention to safety and order accuracy. This position will also operate company vehicles to make customer deliveries obeying all traffic laws and safety procedures. Must maintain appropriate licensing, credentials, and an acceptable driving record.
Job Requirements
Efficiently & accurately organize building materials using a variety of equipmentReview all orders to determine if they are picked correctlyEnsure orders are free of damage and report to management as neededBanding, wrapping, or packaging material for shipping on commercial trucks & trailersDrive forklift in picking area and build pallet/loadPre-trip vehicle inspection completed daily before departureFollow daily operations schedule, with an ability to adjust to customer needsLoad and unload materials safely for transportation with attention to detailHelp to organize and clean both warehouse and yard work areaAccomplish tasks thoroughly, accurately, and on time
Qualifications
Valid driver's license and qualified driving record in the last 3 yearsAble to pass pre-employment drug screeningOne year of box truck driving experienceAble to lift 40-70 pounds throughout the workdayExtra consideration will be given to applicants with proven forklift material handling experienceFlexibility to work overtime hours as needed
