    JOB DESCRIPTION: Community Associate Location: Coronado Apartments Reports To: Community Manager JOB OVERVIEW The Community Associate supports day-to-day leasing and front office operations at Coronado Apartments, contributing to strong occupancy, positive resident experiences, and smooth community operations. This role serves as a first point of contact for prospective residents, current residents, and guests, while supporting leasing, administrative, and customer service functions under the guidance of the Community Manager and Leasing team. Community Associates are expected to deliver professional, responsive service while assisting with leasing activity, resident communication, and overall office operations. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Serve as a primary point of contact for prospective residents via phone, email, and in person to understand housing needs and identify leasing opportunities. * Support leasing efforts by assisting with leasing calls, emails, and appointment scheduling based on availability. * Greet and assist all incoming guests at the front desk; ensure pre-appointment information is collected as needed. * Assist with apartment tours and property presentations as directed, highlighting community features, amenities, and value. * Maintain consistent follow-up with prospective residents to support leasing activity and deliver exceptional customer service. * Answer incoming calls promptly and route inquiries appropriately when not leasing-related. * Support office operations, including maintaining clean and organized office and meeting spaces and assisting with supply needs. * Update internal systems (including Salesforce/MacForce or other CRM platforms) with accurate prospect, unit, and resident information. * Assist with administrative and operational tasks as assigned by the Community Manager. * Perform other related duties as required to support community operations. QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor's degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. * One (1) year or more of customer service, leasing, hospitality, or office experience preferred. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-up abilities. * Proficiency with computers and basic office software (MS Outlook, Excel, Word). * Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems preferred but not required. * Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends as needed. * Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle preferred. We are hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician for the Chicago market! The schedule for this role is Monday-Friday, 8a-4:30p with a pay range of $22-$24/hour. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Complete assigned service requests and repairs in a timely, professional and courteous manner consistent with company operating and equipment/supply standards. * Diagnose and perform installation, preventative maintenance and/or repair of residential apartment buildings and units including electrical and plumbing repair, HVAC systems, waste chute and compactor repair, appliances, cabinetry, tile, carpet and flooring, walls (drywall and plaster repair), and security systems (door locks, etc.). * Performs preventive maintenance procedures on building mechanical equipment on a scheduled basis; inspects belts, checks fluid levels, replaces filters, greases bearings, seals, etc.; repairs or replaces broken parts. * Installs electrical wiring and equipment; wiring during remodeling projects; replaces and repairs wiring as needed. Repairs electrical equipment and control circuits; replaces faulty electrical switches; repairs refrigeration equipment. * Perform duties to restore apartments to "market ready" status, including inspect vacated apartments, complete make-ready checklists, oversee vendor. * Maintains the overall condition of the building and grounds, including outside custodial duties (e.g. snow removal) as required. We are hiring a Custodian for the Hyde Park area! The schedule for this role is Tuesday-Saturday with a pay rate of $18/hour. The Custodian role will keep the lobbies and common areas clean, remove trash, shovel snow and remove trash from the grounds, along with any other light tasks assigned to them by their supervisor.
