Role Description The Sales Estimator is a full-time, on-site role based in Tampa, FL, responsible for providing accurate collision repair and paint estimates while delivering a positive customer experience. Day-to-day tasks include greeting customers, inspecting vehicle damage, preparing detailed estimates using company systems, assisting personnel and explaining recommended services, pricing, and timelines in clear, accessible language. The Sales Estimator follows up on open estimates, supports sales conversion, and collaborates with technicians and management to ensure estimates align with shop capabilities and quality standards. The role also includes updating customer records, coordinating appointment schedules, and contributing to business growth through excellent service and proactive communication.
Qualifications
Strong customer service skills, including the ability to build trust, handle inquiries, and resolve concerns professionally.Sales and business development skills to convert estimates into approved work orders and support revenue growth.Clear and effective communication skills for explaining estimates, repair options, and timelines to customers and team members.Project estimation skills, including assessing vehicle damage, understanding labor and materials, and using estimating tools or software.Basic automotive knowledge or experience in collision repair or auto painting is preferred.Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.Assist in managing the workflow within the shop.Assist personnel on shop floor Read Less
