    About the Opportunity

    A rapidly growing renewable energy contractor is seeking an experienced Estimator to support the successful development and execution of commercial solar projects throughout New Mexico. This role will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, evaluating project risks, supporting bid submissions, and working closely with project management, engineering, procurement, and operations teams to help deliver high-quality solar projects.     Key Responsibilities

    Develop detailed cost estimates for commercial solar and electrical construction projects.Perform quantity takeoffs from drawings, specifications, and construction documents.Analyze labor, equipment, material, and subcontractor costs.Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing.Prepare bid packages, proposals, and budget estimates.Work closely with project managers and operations teams to ensure estimate accuracy and project alignment.Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving measures.Maintain estimating databases and historical cost information.Participate in project handoff meetings and support preconstruction planning.Track market pricing trends and assist with forecasting future project costs.

    Qualifications

    3+ years of estimating experience within commercial solar, electrical construction, EPC, or related construction environments.Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation.Experience preparing conceptual, budgetary, and detailed estimates.Proficiency with estimating software and construction management platforms.Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously while meeting deadlines.Experience collaborating with project management, procurement, and field operations teams.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Building Envelope Consultant

    Location: Seattle, WA | FullTime

    Seeking a Building Envelope Consultant to support existingbuilding restoration and building envelope projects for multifamily, commercial, and institutional properties. This role focuses on investigation, design support, and constructionphase services related to faades, roofing, waterproofing, and enclosure systems.



    Responsibilities

    Perform building envelope investigations, condition assessments, and leak evaluationsSupport restoration and recladding design effortsConduct field observations, testing, and construction administrationCoordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and contractorsPrepare clear technical documentation and reports

    Requirements

    Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field3+ years of experience with building envelope systems, restoration, or exterior constructionExperience with faades, roofing, waterproofing, glazing, and decking systemsFamiliarity with applicable building codes and standardsStrong written and verbal communication skillsComfortable with field work and site visits

    Preferred

    Professional licensure or actively pursuing licensureExperience with occupiedbuilding projects and restoration workBackground in envelope consulting, forensic investigations, or construction administration
