This internship will prepare you for a career in marketing analytics and automation by offering hands-on experience with conversion funnel analysis, multi-channel attribution, CRM reporting, campaign performance tracking, and SMS marketing coordination.

Analytics & Reporting
Build and maintain reports tracking conversion rates through each deal stage, broken down by channel (social media leads, ILS leads, organic search leads, PPC leads)Calculate and report on average and median number of days prospects spend in each deal stage to identify pipeline bottlenecksTrack and analyze the number of leads and deals generated from each source/channel, ensuring proper attributionMeasure the number of deals generated directly from email campaignsAssess the impact of email and SMS campaigns on converting contacts into dealsCreate visual flowcharts documenting our email sequences and customer journey touchpointsAssist with ad-hoc reporting and analysis of marketing initiatives
SMS Marketing Coordination (optional, depending on interest)
Implement strategies to capture phone numbers from existing campaigns, events, email listsCoordinate SMS announcements for promotions and eventsTrack and report on SMS campaign performance metricsAssist with other duties and special projects as assigned
Qualifications Currently in pursuit of a bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing, Business Analytics, Data Science, or related fields of studyExperience with Excel/Google Sheets for data analysis and reportingExperience working with CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) for a student organization, business, or nonprofit is preferable but not requiredIf you don't have HubSpot experience, you must be ready to dive in and master it quickly. Youll be working in it dailyComfortable working with data, formulas, and creating visual reportsStrong attention to detail and ability to spot patterns in data Business Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsWeb savvy, skilled internet researcherPrioritizes work and asks for direction when overwhelmed or uncertainExcellent organizational/time management skillsAbility to translate data into clear, actionable insightsExcellent written business communication skills for report summaries
Bonus points for Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM platformsFamiliarity with marketing attribution models and funnel analysisExperience with data visualization tools (Google Data Studio, Tableau, etc.)Familiarity with Google Analytics or similar web analytics platformsUnderstanding of inbound marketing and lead generation strategies
Team & Work Schedule Work schedule to be determined upon hire. The schedule is flexible, but hours should be consistent.Minimum 15 hours per week required.This is an in-person position at our headquarters in Austin, Texas
Benefits
This paid internship will run from January 2026 to May 2026 with the possibility to continue into the summer. The internship will be approximately hours per week. Pay is $15 per hour.
