Position Overview
Are you a visionary leader ready to transcend standard project management and architect the future of complex built environments? We are seeking a Senior Architectural Project Manager to join our elite St. Louis-based team and steer high-stakes projects—ranging from high-profile corporate fit-outs for global brands like Nestle and Edward Jones to specialized academic healthcare facilities and innovative greenhouse designs. In this role, you are the primary catalyst for design excellence, responsible for harmonizing sophisticated aesthetic visions with rigorous technical execution. You won't just manage tasks; you will mentor a rising generation of designers and serve as the definitive technical authority for our most ambitious commissions.
Joining our team means immersing yourself in a culture that treats architecture as a collective mission. We provide a platform where your expertise in BIM and project delivery isn't just utilized—it is celebrated. The firm is built on a legacy of integrated creativity, offering you the autonomy to own your project's trajectory while benefiting from a supportive environment that prioritizes your professional evolution. With a flexible hybrid schedule and a choice of workweek structures (including half-day Fridays), we value the balance between your personal well-being and your professional impact. This is your opportunity to build a lasting legacy within a firm that values a low-ego, highly collaborative studio environment.
Core Responsibilities
Visionary Leadership: Manage and motivate multidisciplinary teams to deliver elite design presentations and construction documents that consistently surpass client expectations.
Strategic Problem-Solving: Navigate and resolve complex architectural challenges through innovative thinking, ensuring seamless project execution from site analysis through occupancy.
BIM Orchestration: Oversee the high-level integration of BIM technology into all project workflows, ensuring precision, data integrity, and fluid coordination among all stakeholders.
Operational Excellence: Maintain a relentless focus on quality control, auditing technical documentation and specifications to ensure the highest standards of architectural craft.
Stakeholder Synergy: Act as the primary conduit between clients, consultants, and internal design teams, fostering a transparent and collaborative environment.
Project Stewardship: Architect the project roadmap, managing schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure profitable and timely delivery across a diverse portfolio of corporate, healthcare, and higher-ed projects.
Mentorship & Growth: Cultivate the talents of junior and intermediate staff in a low-ego setting, providing the technical guidance and professional mentorship necessary to elevate the entire studio's capabilities.
Required Qualifications
Education: Professional Degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) from an accredited institution.
Licensure: Must be a Licensed Architect (RA) in good standing.
Experience: 10–20 years of progressive experience in architecture, with a documented history of leading large-scale, complex projects.
Software Proficiency: Expert-level command of Revit/BIM workflows and project management software.
Communication: Exceptional verbal, written, and graphic communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire diverse project stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
Specialized Expertise: Experience with Corporate Fit-outs, Healthcare (specifically Pediatric or Surgery), or Higher Education planning studies.
Sustainability: LEED AP or WELL AP accreditation.
Business Acumen: Demonstrated success in client retention and contributing to business development efforts.
