Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate label presses for each production run: plate mounting, anilox roller installation, ink loading, and die setup.Monitor print quality throughout each run, checking register, color strength, pressure, drying, and web tension, and making adjustments as needed.Perform troubleshooting and corrective actions to maintain maximum quality output and minimize waste.Execute finishing operations: inline rotary die cutting, lamination, slitting, and waste stripping.Complete all required job travelers, shift logs, and production paperwork accurately.Communicate job status and handoff information clearly with other operators and the production team.Perform general press maintenance: cleaning, lubrication, and basic upkeep.Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with company safety standards.
Qualifications
1-3 years of experience operating a flexographic label press (narrow-web experience strongly preferred).Ability to set up a press from scratch: plate mounting, anilox selection, ink loading, die installation.Strong eye for print quality: color, register, sharpness, and consistency.Comfortable reading and following job travelers and production specs.Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently on a production floor.
