Now hiring field welders! This will be for one job, shutdown style. We are currently looking for dependable welders who are skilled, safety-focused, and ready to work in a fast-paced environment. Most of the welding done on this job will be SMAW with 7018. Basic welding job includes but is not limited to welding, grinding, reading blueprints, fabricating, repairing, altering, and installing various types of metal, parts, and equipment. Need to have a strong understanding of construction site safety protocols. Must be able to lift 50 Lbs. Must be able to walk, squat, kneel, and stand for long periods of time. Must be able to read blueprints Location: Jessup, Maryland. Weld tests are performed on the job site in Maryland, or they can be done in our main shop in Portage, UT depending on your location. If hired we will fly you out to Maryland for the job. $100/day per diem if you handle your own lodging. $50/day per diem if Lundahl Custom Welding provides lodging. Pay: $20-$35 per hour depending on experience
