    The Superintendent's responsibility is to supervise the field construction of a project and to complete the work on schedule, within the budget and to the quality of workmanship specified. Experience with Federal projects is a plus. In the performance of this function, it is the Superintendent's responsibility to protect and promote Lunacon's interests in all matters and to do whatever is reasonably necessary to discharge his duties and responsibilities.
    Leading and managing the on-site construction team.Coordinating and overseeing all work on site.Attending weekly OAC meetings.Reviewing and becoming familiar with the schedule and budget.Ensuring quality standards are met.Placing orders for materials and being responsible for equipment and materials on site.Following the project timeline to ensure deadlines are met.Monitoring and ensuring on-site safety compliance, cleanliness, and orderliness.Maintaining records for site personnel such as daily field reports, field orders andRFIs.Liaising with inspection authorities regarding approvals.Keeping a safe working environmentCoordinating and scheduling subcontractorsCoordinating and scheduling inspectionsConstruction Superintendent Requirements:10+ years' experience in the construction industryProficient with Procore, MS Office Word, Excel, and ProjectsProficient with taking and uploading digital photographs.Ability to interpret and build according to drawings, specifications, and other documents.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Outstanding organizational skills.

    What You'll Do
    Lead complex construction projects from planning to closeout, ensuring delivery on schedule, within budget, and to specifications.Coordinate federal building logistics, including access control, deliveries, sequencing, and secure facility protocols.Manage multi-trade scheduling and oversee MEP and finish trades to ensure aligned execution.Develop, maintain, and analyze schedules using Primavera P6; manage documentation through Procore.Maintain Earned Value Management (EVM) metrics and produce regular executive-level status reports.Identify risks, create mitigation plans, and continuously drive field productivity improvements.Oversee subcontractors and self-perform crews, ensuring safety, quality, and contract compliance.Lead and develop teams of PMs and engineers, setting clear expectations and driving continuous improvement.Collaborate with internal departments (estimating, sales, supply chain, accounting) to support project success.
    Minimum Qualifications
    Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience.10+ years of hands-on construction experience with federal or government contracts.Experience working in secured federal facilities with an understanding of building security requirements.Strong background in logistics planning, multi-trade coordination, and field sequencing.Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Procore.
    Preferred Qualifications
    PMP certification preferred.Strong understanding of self-perform work and subcontractor integration.Extensive experience managing MEP systems and Finishes.

    Lunacon Construction Group is looking for a skilled Electrical Foreman or Journeyman Electrician to support our growing portfolio of commercial and public-sector projects.

    If youre someone who understands sequencing, works well with other trades, and values safety, quality, and professionalism, this role is for you.

    What Youll Do

    Perform and oversee electrical installations in accordance with plans, specifications, and code requirements.Lead daily electrical activities on site and coordinate with superintendents and project managers.Supervise crews (Foreman role) and assign tasks to ensure productivity and quality.Read and interpret electrical drawings, schedules, and specifications.Coordinate electrical rough-ins, trim-out, and final connections with other trades.Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems including lighting, power, panels, feeders, and controls.Ensure all work complies with NEC, project requirements, and safety standards.Support inspections, punch lists, and project closeout activities.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite.

    Minimum Qualifications

    Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent field experience.5+ years of commercial construction electrical experience.Strong knowledge of NEC and electrical safety practices.Ability to read and understand construction documents and electrical drawings.Experience coordinating with other trades on active jobsites.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Foreman or lead electrician experience.Experience on public-sector, municipal, or federal projects.Familiarity with jobsite documentation tools (Procore a plus).Experience with lighting controls, power distribution, and finish electrical work.Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
