    MEMS Designer - Optical MEMS - Optical Circuit Switches - Bay Area Lumicity is partnered with a well-funded, innovative startup that is creating novel technology to remove bottlenecks in AI processing. They are looking to add a MEMS Design Engineer who will take responsibility for the design, simulation, and optimization of MEMS devices that are critical components of their optical circuit switches. Role: MEMS Design Engineer Location: Bay Area - onsite 5-days per week. Compensation: $180k - $260k PLUS equity The skills needed for the role include: Experienced designing sophisticated MEMS structures, focusing on performance, reliability and manufacturability. Strong layout experience. Proven experience with the full product lifecycle, from concept through to mass production. Experienced designing and fabricating devices with nano-scale features. Proficiency with 3D-CAD software. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure robust and reliable designs for high-volume manufacturing. Any experience with optical MEMS structures would be highly advantageous.
