    ABOUT THE LUCAS MUSEUM OF NARRATIVE ART As the first museum to focus exclusively on storytelling through images, the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art believes that visual storytelling can connect us and help shape a more just society. With a growing collection that encompasses artworks from across cultures, places, times, and mediums, including paintings, sculptures, murals, photography, comic art, book and magazine illustrations, and the arts of filmmaking, the Lucas Museum will explore narrative art’s potential to prompt questions, invite opinions, inspire community, and move people to think about the impact of images on our world. Co-founded by George Lucas and Mellody Hobson and led by director and CEO Sandra Jackson-Dumont, the Lucas Museum was designed by renowned architect Ma Yansong of MAD Architects with Stantec as executive architect and is under construction in Los Angeles’s Exposition Park. An 11-acre campus with extensive new green space designed by Studio-MLA will embrace the museum’s 300,000-square-foot building, which will feature expansive galleries, two state-of-the-art theaters, and dedicated spaces for learning and engagement, dining, retail, and events. www.lucasmuseum.org . POSITION SUMMARY We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced consultant to fill the position of Construction and General Financial Analyst. In support of the Chief Operating Officer, this role will primarily be responsible for independently tracking 2-3 high profile redevelopment projects that are crucial to the initial and ongoing operations of the Museum. The ideal candidate will possess strong job cost tracking experience, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This position is a two-year term position. \n RESPONSIBILITIES Job Cost Tracking: Develop and maintain comprehensive job cost tracking systems for multiple concurrent construction projects, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of expenditures and change order tracking Analyze job cost data to identify trends, potential cost overruns, and areas for improvement, providing actionable insights to project managers and senior leadership Financial Analysis: In addition to supporting construction operations tracking, this role shall also provide additional financial analysis support to the Finance team on an as-needed, as available basis. This would incorporate working with the Museum’s Controller and CFO on various economic, cash flow and accounting analysis Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with project managers to develop project budgets, providing guidance on cost estimation and allocation Prepare regular financial forecasts and variance analysis reports to track project performance against budgeted targets Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing accurate and timely financial reports for internal stakeholders and external partners, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards Present financial data and analysis to senior management, providing actionable recommendations to support strategic decision-making Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project management, accounting, procurement, and legal departments to ensure alignment of financial goals and objectives Serve as a subject matter expert on financial matters related to construction projects, providing guidance and support to stakeholders as needed QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, real estate, construction management, engineering or a related field is preferred but not required.     Reporting to the Manager, Retail Warehouse, the Retail Warehouse Associate plays a vital behind-the-scenes role within the Revenue & Engagement department, supporting the Museum’s retail experience. As a steward of merchandise, this position ensures items are received, handled, and delivered with care and precision while maintaining a seamless flow of inventory from the warehouse to the museum store. 

    This role also serves as a trusted driver, responsible for the safe and timely transport of goods between locations, upholding high standards of safety, reliability, and operational excellence. 

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying quantities, condition, and alignment with purchase orders, packing slips, and transfer documentation 

    Unpack, label, and organize merchandise to preserve product integrity, accessibility, and efficient stock flow 

    Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts, audits, and timely updates in inventory management systems or handheld devices 

    Replenish the museum store in a timely manner, partnering with store staff to support merchandising priorities, launches, and seasonal product flow 

    Pick, pack, and prepare merchandise for internal transfers, store requests, and customer fulfillment with accuracy and efficiency 

    Process damaged goods, returns, and discrepancies according to established procedures, escalating issues as needed 

    Help reduce loss and shrink by handling merchandise carefully, maintaining secure storage practices, and reporting variances promptly 

    Uphold a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment that reflects operational excellence and supports OSHA-compliant practices 

    Load and unload goods with care, recognizing the value and craftsmanship of each item 

    QUALIFICATIONS

    High school diploma or GED equivalent required 

    Valid CA Driver License 

    2+ years of experience in warehouse, retail, logistics, or a related operational environment 

    Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks in a fast-paced environment 

    Forklift certification (or ability to obtain) preferred 

    Familiarity with inventory systems, handheld scanners, and stock management practices 

    Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy in receiving, stocking, and fulfillment tasks 

    Reliable, team-oriented, and able to communicate effectively across warehouse and retail operations 

    Knowledge of health and safety standards and maintaining OSHA-compliant operations in California 

    WORK ENVIRONMENT

    Combination of warehouse and retail environments 

    Exposure to varying weather conditions while loading, unloading, and transporting merchandise 

    May require early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

    POSITION SUMMARY 

    The Lucas Museum is deeply committed to delivering an exceptional and memorable experience for every visitor. The Visitor Services team plays a vital role in bringing this vision to life by creating a welcoming, engaging, and seamless experiences throughout the museum journey. 

    Reporting to the Manager, Visitor Services, the Visitor Services Associate serves as a key member of the Museum’s frontline team and plays an important role in supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of the museum while helping create enriching and inclusive experiences for visitors. Associates may be assigned to a variety of areas throughout the Museum, including ticketing, cash handling, theater ushering, guest engagement, guided tours, wayfinding, and general visitor support. 

    The Visitor Services Associate is expected to provide exceptional customer service, foster a welcoming environment for all guests, and serve as a knowledgeable ambassador for the Museum’s exhibitions, programs, and policies. 

    This position is available as a full-time, part-time, and part-time seasonal opportunity.

    Responsibilities

    Serve as first point of contact and ambassador for all Museum guests, ensuring a welcoming and positive visitor experience while delivering exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders 

    Maintain a thorough understanding of the Lucas Museum’s policies, programs, and offerings, tailoring communication to visitors to aid them in navigating their experience 

    Perform assigned workstation responsibilities which may include but is not limited to ticketing, queuing, cash handling, theater ushering, guest services, guided tours, or other front-of-house assignments 

    Promote, sell, and provide support for ticket sales and membership programs 

    Share relevant information to colleagues, members, and visitors through clear communication 

    Ensure all publicly accessible spaces are impeccably clean and visitors act in accordance with the Museum’s policies, escalating issues to the Visitor Services management team as needed 

    Collaborate Support special Museum initiatives including events, VIP tours, public programs, and more 

    Participate in department training sessions, cross-functional collaborations, team meetings, and organization-wide initiatives to support operational excellence and a positive visitor experience 

    Performs additional duties, special projects and assignments as requested by the Visitor Services management team 

    Qualifications

    Minimum of two years of experience in a high-volume, guest-service oriented environment 

    Experience for an arts and cultural organization or high-volume environment with excellent guest service standards preferred 

    Proficient in ticketing software, experience in Tessitura is a plus 

    Ability to work flexible hours including weeknight evenings, weekends, and holidays
