The Work You'll Be Doing
In this role, you will:
Set up and operate Nakamura CNC lathe / mill-turn machines Read, edit, and optimize CNC programs in collaboration with engineering Interpret blueprints, process documentation, and GD&T requirements Perform first-article and in-process inspection to verify part quality Adjust offsets, tooling, and process parameters to maintain tight tolerances Run production while ensuring consistency and repeatability Perform part finishing operations including deburring and surface refinement Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Perform routine preventative maintenance on machines Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams

Machines: Nakamura CNC Lathe / Mill-Turn Centers Controls: (Fanuc-based / Nakamura controls) Inspection Tools: Calipers, micrometers, indicators, precision measuring tools Environment: Clean, bright, highly controlled manufacturing environment

What We're Looking ForRequired:
3+ years of CNC lathe or mill-turn machining experience Experience setting up and operating CNC machines independently Strong blueprint reading skills and understanding of GD&T Ability to perform in-process inspection and hold tight tolerances Strong attention to detail and process discipline Team-oriented with a positive, professional attitude
Preferred (Not Required):
Experience with Nakamura machines Mill-turn / multi-axis machining experience Light programming or macro editing experience Experience in medical device or high-precision manufacturing
