    Join the Love to Code Academy team as a Part-Time Instructor and inspire the next generation through coding and robotics.


    You'll guide K–8 students in after-school classes, helping them build not just technical skills but character traits like teamwork and persistence. This isn't a typical teaching role; it's a chance to coach and mentor, creating a supportive environment where students thrive and grow.


    Our flexibility allows you to work with different age groups and program types, making a real impact in our dynamic and innovative environment.     Compensation:

    $21 - $26 per hour


    Responsibilities:Lead engaging after-school coding and robotics sessions for K–8 students, fostering a love for STEM.Develop and adapt lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities, ensuring every student feels included.Encourage teamwork and problem-solving skills by guiding students through collaborative projects.Provide constructive feedback and support to help students build confidence and resilience in their learning journey.Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and motivated.Collaborate with fellow instructors to share best practices and continuously improve our teaching methods.Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, offering updates on student progress and achievements regularly.
    Qualifications:Experience in teaching or tutoring K–8 students, with a focus on STEM subjects.Ability to develop and adapt lesson plans to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.Proven track record of fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and fellow instructors.Ability to inspire teamwork and problem-solving through collaborative projects.Experience in coding and robotics, with a passion for sharing this knowledge with young learners.Commitment to providing constructive feedback and support to build student confidence and resilience.

    Love to Code Academy is a youth character development academy. We use coding, robotics, and esports as an environment where kids practice teamwork, persistence, integrity, and leadership. Technology is the environment. Character development is the outcome.


    We're looking for a Marketing & Business Development Lead who can carry that story into our community, building relationships with local leaders and influencers, while owning the follow-through that turns a trial class into an enrolled student.


    This is a part-time, in-person role (15–20 hours per week), with after-school, evening, and occasional weekend hours.

    Compensation:

    $21 - $26 hourly + Bonus


    Responsibilities:

    Community & Awareness (~6-8 hrs/week)

    Attend 4-6 community/networking lunches per month with local leaders — chambers of commerce, service clubs, scouting organizations — representing the academy with warmth and clarity.Build relationships with 4-6 local mommy bloggers/influencers per month through 1:1 lunches, opening new audiences, and generating authentic word of mouth.Use the time between scheduled meetings to set new appointments and identify upcoming lunch and event opportunities.

    Enrollment Conversion (~8-10 hrs/week)

    Show up for and support trial classes and birthday events — the front door of our enrollment journey.Follow up with every trial family and birthday guest to move them from "we loved it" to enrolled.Own the full trial-to-enrollment pipeline, tracking every family from first visit through decision.
    Qualifications:

    Who you are

    An experienced, confident presenter comfortable in front of community groups, parents, and youth organizations.A natural relationship-builder who can turn a lunch conversation into a lasting partnership.Organized and results-driven, with a track record of driving enrollments, sign-ups, or comparable conversions.Genuinely motivated by youth development — you believe kids should leave a program stronger in relationships, responsibility, purpose, and leadership.Comfortable managing multiple relationships and follow-ups at once without letting any fall through the cracks.

    We grow kids, not just coders.


    We are seeking an energetic Part-Time Lead Instructor to join Love to Code Academy for Fall 2026 and run coding and robotics classes while guiding students as they grow through challenge, teamwork, and real responsibility.


    This is a part-time role (20–25 hours per week), in-person at our Kansas City location serving K–8 students, with after-school, evening, and occasional weekend hours.


    At Love to Code Academy, instructors are coaches of character who create a supportive environment, guide students through challenges, reinforce positive behaviors, and support meaningful student development.


    The Lead Instructor is responsible for leading a classroom of K–8 students through hands-on coding and robotics projects, delivering clear instruction while fostering a positive classroom culture and high levels of student engagement. This role also collaborates with supporting instructors, communicates with parents, and works closely with the Program Director to ensure consistency and quality across programs.


    This is not a lecture-based role; instructors actively engage with students through hands-on, project-based learning. A structured curriculum is provided, with no lesson planning required.


    We are an early-stage program with a strong foundation, and this role plays a direct part in shaping and growing our programs. If you are looking for meaningful work where you can lead, coach, and make a visible impact on students, this is that opportunity.

    Compensation:

    $28 - $32 hourly


    Responsibilities:Independently lead structured, high-energy coding and robotics classes for elementary and middle school studentsCreate and maintain a strong classroom culture centered on engagement, accountability, and effort Manage classroom behavior and uphold program standards consistently Adapt instruction and coaching style based on age group and student needs Coach students through challenges while reinforcing character traitsEnsure classroom materials, structure, and environment are consistently prepared and maintained Communicate clearly and professionally with students, families, and team membersWrite student progress reports to clearly communicate growth and achievements with familiesEnsure smooth execution of all Love to Code Academy systems and standards 
    Qualifications:Proven ability to independently manage a classroom of students Strong classroom management skills, leadership presence, energy, and ability to hold student attention in a classroom settingBuild a classroom environment centered on active engagement, collaboration, and completing projectsExperience working with children in educational or youth development settings Ability to guide without over-instructing (coaching mindset) Strong communication skills with students, parents, and team members High level of responsibility, reliability, and initiative Available for after-school, evening, and occasional weekend hours 


    Preferred:

    Prior experience with coding or robotics tools such as Scratch, MakeCode, LEGO Robotics, or VEX RoboticsExperience working with kids (teaching, coaching, camps, tutoring, youth programs, STEM programs)Experience with coding, robotics, or technology-based learning environments
