    General Psychiatrist VA Community-Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) – Canton, Ohio Caring for Those Who Served The VA is seeking a General Psychiatrist to join our Behavioral Health Interdisciplinary Program (BHIP) team at our large, well-established Community-Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) in Canton, Ohio , serving our nation’s Veterans in a supportive, collegial, and mission-driven environment. What is a BHIP? A Behavioral Health Interdisciplinary Program (BHIP) is the VA’s team-based model of mental health care. Psychiatrists work collaboratively with psychologists, social workers, nurses, and other mental health professionals to provide comprehensive, Veteran-centered treatment . The BHIP model emphasizes continuity of care, shared decision-making, and strong clinical support , allowing psychiatrists to practice high-quality medicine without feeling isolated. This position also collaborates closely with PACT (Patient Aligned Care Team) , ensuring integrated, whole-person care for Veterans.
