A family owned Optometry practice with an Elk Grove and Sacramento location in search of a part-time/full-time Optician to join our team. Our ideal candidate is a detail oriented and driven individual that can work independently with minimal supervision and is also a team player.
Duties will include but are not limited to: answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, collecting insurance information and verifying eligibility, assisting patients with frame selection, frame adjusting, repairs, dispensing, collecting payments, insurance billing (VSP, Eyemed, MES, etc.), and communicating well with our doctors and other staff members.

We are seeking the right candidate who is looking for a long-term employment opportunity. We are looking for a receptionist to perform customer service, clerical, and technical services to assist the Optometrist. Duties to include answering the phone, notification of patients, authorizing insurances, and performing preliminary tests on patients. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic and has prior medical front desk and customer service experience. We will train or further educate selected candidates that match our requirements.
