    The Construction Field Superintendent plays a pivotal role in driving the successful delivery of complex, high-tech facility projects, leading the team through the layout, planning, and execution of their assigned scope. Based full-time in the field and forming a key part of the Construction Management team, this role works closely with fellow superintendents, subcontractors, and cross-discipline teams to ensure project objectives are met to the highest standards of safety, quality, and integrity. The successful candidate will bring extensive construction experience, strong leadership capability, and a proven track record of delivering large-scale industrial and mission-critical projects.

    Responsibilities:
    Coordinate day-to-day field activities with other superintendents and subcontractors across all disciplines to ensure seamless project execution.Supervise multiple subcontractors and craft employees, providing clear direction and guidance to maintain productivity and quality on site.Maintain and adjust the project schedule as necessary, proactively identifying and mitigating risks to key milestones.Support and enforce the project's cost control and QA/QC programmes, ensuring compliance across all assigned scopes.Manage and uphold all site safety protocols, maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel on site.Provide resolution to design and constructability issues, applying technical expertise to address challenges as they arise.Respond to client and stakeholder requests, developing timely and effective solutions to issues raised.Ensure all work is completed in compliance with local authority permitting, applicable codes, and site-specific specifications.Provide supporting information on field conditions and scope for cost estimates and change management.Facilitate subcontractor activity, ensuring performance in accordance with all contractual agreements.Assist with project staffing management and support the broader construction management team as required.Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role.Skills Required:
    Minimum 6+ years' construction experience, with extensive exposure to large-scale industrial or high-tech fabrication projects.Proven experience supervising subcontractors and craft teams across multiple disciplines on complex construction projects.Strong leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to manage multiple subcontractors and craft teams across a complex field environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors.Proficiency in project management software including Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Project.Experience with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.Highly developed visual observation and interpretation skills, with a strong eye for quality and installation accuracy.Excellent time management and multitasking abilities, with a structured approach to managing competing priorities.Strong team player with the ability to collaborate across departments and at all levels of leadership.Ability to remain professional, composed, and solutions-focused in high-pressure situations.Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to work extended hours or off-shift to accommodate changing construction sequences.Education / Licenses / Certifications
    Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline preferred.Proof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required where applicableBenefits:

    The Construction Manager plays a key role within the Construction Management team, working closely with design professionals, clients, subcontractors, and craftspeople to address complex coordination issues and lead on-site quality control efforts across large, high-tech facility projects. This role is based full-time at the project site and is responsible for managing assigned scopes of work from installation through to system startup and commissioning. The successful candidate will bring strong construction management experience, a collaborative approach, and a proven ability to deliver in complex, mission-critical environments.

    Responsibilities:
    Oversee subcontractor and vendor installation work on a daily basis, ensuring adherence to installation schedules and supporting system startup and commissioning activities.Act as the interface between Area Construction Managers and multiple subcontractors, coordinating system startups across disciplines.Verify that all documentation is complete and that equipment being prepared for startup is construction-complete and can be safely energized or started.Coordinate assigned systems with civil, architectural, and structural elements within the overall project design.Organize and facilitate training of client personnel in the operations and maintenance of installed systems.Run startup meetings involving Area Construction Managers, design team members, subcontractors, local utility agencies, and owners to coordinate and drive system startup activities.Review and process project submittal information, coordinating between multiple submittals to ensure accuracy and functionality across all systems.Receive and distribute requests for information (RFIs) and change in scope documents issued by project team members.Act as the technical advisor at the onsite field construction office, supporting the broader project team with expertise and guidance.Will need to assist in scope demarks thru page turns and BIM fly throughs.Assist in estimating construction budgets and managing project team staffing for assigned scopes.Support the procurement of subcontractors and equipment, and assist in managing subcontractor contracts and contract modifications.Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role.Skills Required:
    Minimum 6+ years' construction management experience, with specific experience on industrial and/or high-tech semiconductor manufacturing projects required.Demonstrated ability to coordinate and manage multiple subcontractors across complex construction scopes.Experience working in cleanroom or high-tech manufacturing environments.Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and project management software including Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Project.Experience with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings, design specifications, and technical documentation.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across diverse project teams.Highly developed visual observation and interpretation skills, with a strong eye for quality and installation accuracy.Excellent time management and multitasking abilities, with a structured approach to managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work closely with trade and craft personnel, maintaining patience and professionalism in high-pressure situations.Strong team player with the ability to collaborate across departments and at all levels of leadership.Must hold a valid driver's license and be able to safely operate a vehicle between project sites.Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to work extended hours or off-shift to accommodate changing construction sequences.Education / Licenses / Certifications

    The Quality and Commissioning Mechanical Engineer is responsible for supporting and executing mechanical quality control and commissioning activities within a semiconductor manufacturing facility and other mission-critical environments. This role ensures that mechanical systems are installed, tested, and commissioned in accordance with design intent, client standards, and applicable codes, while maintaining a strong focus on safety, reliability, and operational readiness.

    The ideal candidate brings deep facilities engineering or maintenance experience within the semiconductor industry, combined with hands-on commissioning exposure, and is comfortable working in active construction, startup, and operational environments.
    Responsibilities:

    Commissioning & Functional Testing
    Support and execute the commissioning process for data center and semiconductor facility mechanical systems to ensure systems, components, and equipment operate efficiently and meet design specifications.Conduct functional performance testing (FPT) of mechanical and other critical systems in accordance with project commissioning plans, procedures, and client requirements.Verify that installed equipment and systems meet design intent, project specifications, and applicable regulatory and industry standards.
    Risk Assessment & Safety
    Perform project risk assessments prior to the execution of major testing and commissioning activities.Implement appropriate control measures to mitigate risk during system startup, testing, and functional performance activities.Maintain a strong safety-first mindset and ensure compliance with site EHS policies, LOTO procedures, and safe commissioning practices.
    Field Coordination & Stakeholder Interface
    Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with contractors, vendors, controls teams, and field personnel to support successful commissioning execution.Coordinate field activities to resolve installation, testing, and performance issues efficiently.Support troubleshooting of mechanical system deficiencies in collaboration with construction, commissioning, and operations teams.
    Systems & Technical Scope
    Support commissioning activities across a range of mechanical systems typically found in semiconductor and mission-critical facilities, including but not limited to:HVAC systems and mechanical utilitiesChillers, cooling towers, pumps, and hydronic systemsExhaust and ventilation systemsFire protection systems (awareness level)Interfaces with security and life-safety systems (as applicable)Demonstrate a solid working understanding of mechanical and/or electrical equipment and design concepts used in data centers and semiconductor facilities.
    Controls & Monitoring
    Utilize EPMS, SCADA, and/or BMS systems to support testing, verification, alarm validation, and system performance monitoring.Coordinate with controls and instrumentation teams to verify proper sensor installation, control logic, alarms, and trending during commissioning.
    Documentation & Communication
    Document test results, deficiencies, observations, and resolutions in a clear, accurate, and professional manner.Support preparation and maintenance of commissioning documentation, including test scripts, reports, redlines, and turnover packages.Provide clear status updates and technical input to project stakeholders as required.Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role. Skills Required:
    Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities engineering or maintenance within the semiconductor industry.Minimum 2 years of hands-on commissioning experience in mission-critical or high-technology facilities.Strong understanding of mechanical systems used in semiconductor fabs and/or data centers.Experience supporting functional performance testing and system verification activities.Demonstrated safety awareness and experience working under strict EHS requirements.Strong written and verbal communication skills.High attention to detail with a commitment to quality and documentation standards.Experience with EPMS, SCADA, and/or BMS platforms (software and/or hardware).Familiarity with both mechanical and electrical systems integration in mission-critical facilities.Experience with HVAC, fire protection, security systems, and life-safety interfaces in data center or fab environments.Prior experience working in cleanroom or high-purity environments.Education / Licenses / Certifications

    This hourly rate is intended for local candidates within commuting distance of the site. Please note that local candidates are not eligible for per diem.

    Hourly Rate (Local Candidates within traveling distance)

    $60-$70 USD

    This rate is intended for traveling candidates, who may also be eligible for per diem of up to $1,500 per week. Per diem is only available to employees who maintain a qualifying tax home and incur duplicate living expenses while working away from home.
