    This position is responsible for the Fleet Operations and Maintenance and reports to the Branch Manager.

    Shift: Mon-Fri 4PM - 12AM

    Key Responsibilities:

    Service and repair of all fleet vehicles. Perform preventive maintenance (lube, oil change, replace belts, hoses, inspect brakes, repack bearings, check tires, on all size vehicles. Must perform per month. Diagnose and effectively repair mechanical, engine and electrical irregularities/malfunctions on all size vehicles. Drive automatic and standard shift vehicles for testing, transfer, and pick-up/delivery of parts. Perform inventory and order parts, supplies, as needed.

    Primary Qualifications:

    5+ years of experience (Preferably Dealership. Foreign/Domestic vehicle experience a plus) Possession of valid driver's license (C or better) and ability to drive both automatic and standard transmission vehicles from 2,000 to 50,000 lbs. in size. Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety regulations. Must meet DOT standards to achieve brake and annual inspection certifications. A minimum of 1 year experience or a certificate from an approved training program.

    Individual Skills and Competencies:

    Ability to read and understand technical service manuals, repair orders, labels, and gauges (in English). Ability to write work orders, purchase orders. Ability to communicate verbally (in English) using telephone for ordering parts and supplies.

    Working Conditions:

    Work is performed in a semi-enclosed structure and outdoors. Environment involves chemical handling, gasoline/diesel fumes and intermittent high noise exposure. Exposed to wet and dry conditions in extreme heat and/or cold. Full-time schedule consists of an average of 40 hours per week for a 5-day period.

    This position sits at the Greenville branch and will be required to commute to the Columbia branch. The position is responsible for the financial operations for Greenville and Columbia.


    Responsibilities:

    Recruiting, interviewing, testing, selecting, and training of operations personnel. Training, development, and performance evaluation of operations supervisors. Oversight and coordination of route, dispatch, vault, and terminal operations through respective managers/supervisors. Oversight and coordination of maintenance of vehicles, forklifts, and other equipment. See that preventive maintenance and repairs are performed in a timely manner.
