A Day in the Life of a Crawlspace Encapsulation Technician:
As a Crawlspace Encapsulation Technician at Lookout Pest Control, you play a critical role in protecting and improving the health of our customers’ homes from the ground up. Your primary focus is installing high-quality crawlspace encapsulation systems designed to control moisture, improve air quality, and prevent structural damage.
You’ll spend your day working in crawlspaces, assessing conditions and executing full encapsulation installs. This includes preparing surfaces, installing vapor barriers, sealing vents and entry points, and ensuring proper drainage and moisture control systems are in place. Your attention to detail ensures every system is installed to standard and built to last.
Beyond installation, you’ll communicate directly with customers to explain the work being completed, answer questions, and ensure they understand the long-term value of protecting their home. As a Pest Control Technician at Lookout Pest Control, you’ll be the hero keeping homes and businesses pest-free!
Your days will be action-packed with treatments, inspections, solving pest problems, and creating custom plans. You'll deliver top-notch service, answer questions, and make sure every customer feels confident and cared for.

Essential Functions:
Abide by company safety policies and regulatory requirements including the application, storing, and mixing of product, donning of Personal Protective Equipment, and safe operation of equipment, vehicles, and tools Operate company vehicle safely and lawfullyObtain and maintain all industry required licenses and registrations through testing and continuing education creditsEnsure the proper maintenance and operation of equipment and vehicle for cleanliness, preservation, longevity, efficacy, and safetyCollaborate with customers to schedule or confirm appointments, services, and appropriate preparation for your appointments Conduct thorough inspections of the exterior of customer properties and identify pests, signs of pest activity, and conducive conditionsEngage with customers as necessary to discuss findings, treatment, additional services, and payment Treat and inspect the interior of properties as necessary or requested including, attics, basements, voids, and crawl spacesTreat targeted areas and pests using appropriate product, equipment, and technique as determined by the pest being targeted, the area the product is being applied to, and the environmental conditions the product is being appliedRecord services, pest activity, products used, and graphs, accurately as prescribed by company policy and regulatory requirementsRemove cobwebs and spider webs from the exterior of structures being treatedCollaborate with Sales to generate leads by identifying opportunities for additional servicesAttend required training and meetings as prescribedPerform other duties as requiredRequirements
High school diploma or equivalentMust have & maintain a valid driver's license Must pass state-required exam for registration/certification after hiredWeekend work as requiredWork Conditions
