We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Watch Service Center as a Watch Technician Specialist for our Manhasset, NY location. This is a full-time, career-track opportunity designed for someone who takes pride in precision work and is eager to build a long-term future in fine watchmaking.
No prior watchmaking experience is required. We provide extensive in-house training to develop the technical skills, craftsmanship standards, and discipline necessary to succeed and meet high-level horological standards.
Responsibilities:
Follow standardized operating procedures (SOPs) within a structured sequential production lineRepair broken, damaged, or worn parts on timepiecesPerform diagnostics and troubleshoot mechanical movements during a repair and assembly stageApply structured problem-solving and abstract thinking to identify root causes of assembly inconsistencies and resolve independentlyPerform visual and technical inspections at each stage of assembly to ensure compliance with quality and functionalityHandle all components with extreme care, maintaining cleanliness and preventing contamination in a controlled environmentPerform dial installation, hand setting, and casing-up of movements following strict manufacturer specificationsEnsure precise alignment of hands and date jump accuracyExecute casing operations including correct seating of movement, dial and handsAssist in maintaining tools, equipment, and workbench organization according to Shop standardsRequest necessary parts, tools, and consumables in accordance with established proceduresMeet defined production and quality targetsQualifications/Experience:
