Experience in Urgent Care and the Emergency Medicine department is required. Compensation Benefits The compensation range listed is for starting base compensation only and is adjusted based upon years of experience and/or faculty rank: $110,000 - 150,000. This amount does not include variable compensation or extra productivity and is subject to the individual department compensation plans. The APP provides swing shift support, late afternoon to evening, supporting surgical services in this busy Level 1 trauma center. Ideal candidates must be certified AGACNP or PA surgical providers. The position requires strong perioperative management, understanding of the care and management of the surgical patient, an ability to identify and initiate treatment of life-threatening conditions. The ideal candidate Identifies and solves complex clinical problems, works well in a team, is adaptable in a dynamic clinical environment and communicates effectively with team members and supervising trauma surgeons. Communicates effectively in transitions of care between other APP s and residents. Position requires special skills and knowledge in the fields of trauma, surgical critical care, and acute care surgery. SPECIAL CONDITIONS Must have valid State of California R.N./N.P. License. Must have valid State of California Nurse Practitioner Furnishing Number. Must have National Board Certification for Nurse Practitioners. Must have valid AGACNP certification. Must have BLS (BAR), ACLS (ART). Must be able to obtain medical staff privileges.
