    Summary

    The Data Team Specialist role will possess key skills and experience which includes entry-level knowledge of international import transportation, import brokerage procedures, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (“Customs”), and Participating Government Agency (“PGA”) requirements including the clearance process, classification, and valuation. This position requires meticulous attention to detail with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, high-pressure freight forwarding operations environment, while positively contributing to the success of the team.

    This role primarily requires the individual to review and validate data extracted from a variety of documents (including but not limited to a commercial invoice and/or packing list) and cross referencing its transference into our Transportation Management System (“TMS”). This individual should be able to communicate articulately any valuable feedback and suggestions (either general and/or regarding their experience with any/all utilized tools) that would contribute to the overall improvement and achievement of their department’s objectives and goals.
