The position is based at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital, a 273-bed facility and the regions only Level III Trauma Center, serving Virginia Beach, the Eastern Shore, and Northeastern North Carolina. The hospital is an accredited Primary Stroke Center and Magnet-recognized for nursing excellence, with specialized programs in heart and vascular care, neuroscience and neurosurgery, orthopedics, and spine services, while also providing a wide range of advanced tertiary and clinical care services.
