• Perform structural dynamic analyses for missile and spacecraft flight hardware
• Provide technical guidance to programs in their planning and execution of structural analysis and test on missile programs
Produce and maintain models generated from both in-house and commercially available software codes, that simulate mechanical loading conditions, mechanism deployment motions, and the response behavior of missile segment and spacecraft separation events.
• Perform loads development (primary structure and component level), shock and vibration environments determination and component and system level testing and data evaluation.
• Prepare test plans; static, separation dynamics, vibration, modal and shock test execution, and post-test reports. You will be an important part of our product development team, where effective communication is critical.
• Have the ability to work with a multi-disciplined team performing structural design trades, preliminary and detailed design/analysis activity and performance and maintenance assessments of operational systems.
• Support dynamic test definitions, requirements development, test monitoring, data reduction, and comparison to analysis efforts.
• Provide user documentation and recommendations to data packages to support peer and customer reviews, present analysis data to engineering teams, customer technical representatives, and Program Office personnel at technical interchange meetings and design reviews
• Mentor junior engineers and cross train other engineering fields.
• Provide review, interpretation, flow down, and implementation of program requirements, and plan tasks and review budget and schedule to reduce cost and cycle time.
Basic Qualifications:
• Advanced understanding of structural dynamics through education or equivalent experience
• Extensive experience with spacecraft and missile dynamics analysis and test methods
• Proficiency in application of finite element analysis principles as well as rigid and flexible body lumped-parameters
• Experience leading analysis efforts in support of conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design activity
• Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain a government security clearance

The Kayenne Program develops and maintains a secure, hybrid environment that facilitates high priority defense initiatives, in addition to developing and integrating highly-available software applications. Be part of a dynamic security engineering team working to capture, define, architect, develop, integrate, and sell-off products to government customers. In this role, you will support tasks such as:
• Assist with implementing and maintaining DevSecOps best practices throughout the entire software development lifecycle
• Assist with development of Cyber Plans and Procedures
• Work with multiple agile teams across the program to determine the best DevSecOps practices across custom applications and COTS product
• Apply hardware and software knowledge, cyber security standards in mission applications, & feedback from users to develop / modernize software.
Basic Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications :
• 3+ Years experience with DevSecOps principles and practices
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps)
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
• Active TS/SCI Security Clearance is required to start with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with poly
Desired Skills:
• Agile Mindset: A strong understanding of Agile principles and the ability to adapt to changing requirements are crucial.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
• Understanding of Risk Management Framework (RMF) NIST SP 800-53
• Understanding of security best practices and tools (e.g., vulnerability scanning, penetration testing)

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $93,200 - $164,450. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
