    Essential Accountabilities for the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

    Essential Accountabilities for the Speech-Language Pathologist

    Essential Accountabilities for the Intervention Specialist

    Deliver high-quality and dynamic lessons across educational settings including our ABA clinic and therapy clinic settings. Evaluate children in order to obtain the information necessary for intervention planning, consultation, and to develop instructional plans that help meet the functional and educational needs of each child served in our clinic setting. Review comprehensive evaluation reports, data and academic/clinical samples. Administer skills assessments for baseline documentation. Integrate visual auditory and motor processing with understanding of the structure of the English language. Develop individualized treatment plans and materials to match the student’s unique learning profile. Document, monitor, and analyze the student’s progress and effects of treatment.Consult and collaborate with family, and other staff or supports within the school setting. Create and submit all reporting, including appropriate recommendations ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Maintain organization and structure with changes in treatment plans and materials. Requirements:Intervention Specialist license or the ability to obtain a supplemental Intervention Specialist license.     Conduct initial evaluations and re-evaluations on assigned patients.Design individualized treatment plans and materials to match the patient’s unique learning profile.Provide therapy according to the treatment plan while monitoring progress and adjusting therapy.Document, monitor, and analyze the patient’s progress and effects of treatment.Communicate, educate, and provide family training on the patient’s individualized treatment plans.Consult and collaborate with family and other staff or supports (i.e., physician, school district, other therapies).Create and submit all reporting, including appropriate recommendations ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Requirements:Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Speech Language Pathology.Current licensure to practice Speech Language Therapy within the state of OhioValid Driver’s license.Must be proficient in English; reading, comprehending and understanding the English language.Completed FBI and BCI background check (can be completed upon hire)Professional Liability Insurance, recommended by governing body.Positive and goal oriented, willing to accept the challenge of new assignments and be able to work well with others.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with emphasis on teamwork, customer service, and safe working practices.Must be able to handle stressful situations.Compatible with company culture and core values.
