The primary responsibility of this position is selling the Company's products and providing a high-quality service to customers. Makes sales by soliciting new prospects for customers and persuading regular customers to increase the amount of their purchases or to purchase new Company products. In conjunction with the route salesperson's outside sales and solicitations, he/she will be expected to deliver/install products to/for customers along his/her route and/or within his/her territory. Essential Job Duties Solicit new and existing customers daily and promote and sell the Company's products to customers. Develop relationships with and provide service to existing customers that ensure customer retention and customer loyalty. Identify potential new customers and solicit business from the same. Be familiar with the Company's product literature and be able to convey product information and availability to customers to ensure the growth of both revenue and the number of customers along the route and/or within the territory. Attend regular sales training meetings to review sales performance and discuss sales goals and ways to improve sales performance. Provide exemplary customer service. Operate Company vehicle in a safe, courteous and responsible manner with a valid driver's license. Deliver/Install products to/for Customers along the route and/or within the territory Verify parts delivered/installed to/for customers and obtain the signature of the customer confirming accuracy compared to the work order. Protect company assets by diligently performing all duties in a safe manner, including safely handling products delivered and payments collected. Operate in compliance with applicable rules and regulations set forth by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. Comply with established company policies and procedures. Manage daily route independently to ensure accurate and timely delivery of product. Take responsibility for your safety and watch out for the safety of others. Use safe precautions, proper tools, and equipment, and adhere to all safe work practices and policies. Assumes other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities Not responsible for supervising employees. Minimum Requirements Education sets personal own goals and determines how to achieve results with few or no guidelines to follow; supervisor/manager provides broad guidance and overall direction. Handle multiple tasks or projects simultaneously with moderate complexity. Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to drive a vehicle most of the time. Must be able to sit and drive for extended periods (up to 12 hours at a time); use hands to operate machinery. May need to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, reach, climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch for extended periods. Frequent exposure to contaminants such as fuel or exhaust. May occasionally wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed. May need to work in cramped spaces that could require getting into awkward positions. May be exposed to extreme temperatures, extreme lighting, and high noise levels. Daily travel will be required by drivers making deliveries. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.     Organization, maintenance, and storage of finalized documents in the appropriate database and Collabtic.Managing document visibility and access to the appropriate groups and/or users in the Collabtic system.Monitor industry and internal trends for issues related to our products that may warranty documentation.

    Basic Qualifications

     

    Education & Experience:

    A minimum of 5 years of experience in service or engineering support roles.Thorough understanding of automotive systems (suspension, brakes, electrical, powertrain, etc.) and general service repair procedures.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with management, engineering, internal and external stakeholders while building and maintaining positive relationshipsProficient in Microsoft suite of products

     

    Preferred Qualifications:

    ·         Ability to analyze and understand root cause, scope and consequence of vehicle issues

    ·         Diagnostic skills in technical subjects required for field support.

    ·         Experience in assisting Engineering, Quality, Service Operations, or Manufacturing.

    ·         Experience using or managing Collabtic.

    ·         Certification by National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) in some or all areas of automotive repair.

     

    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities (Includes needed certifications, systems knowledge, job skills, characteristics, competencies, etc.):

    ·         Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and to draw and interpret graphs.

    Frequent use of Outlook, Word, Excel, graphics, etc. Ability to create, maintain and incorporate functions into Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, databases, and Powerpoint presentations to support business objectives.Regularly uses moderately complex oral and written.Problems encountered are routine, somewhat repetitive and generally solved by following clear directions and procedures.Decisions generally affect own job or assigned functional area.Results are defined; sets personal own goals and determines how to achieve results with few or no guidelines to follow; supervisor/manager provides broad guidance and overall direction.Handle multiple tasks or projects simultaneously with moderate complexity.
