Now Hiring: Caregiver – 6-Bed RCFE (Residential Care Facility for the Elderly)
Living Oak Home Care located in Santa Rosa is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Caregiver to join our team. We are a licensed 6-bed RCFE dedicated to providing quality care in a safe, respectful, and family-oriented environment.
Position Details
8-hour shifts

Responsibilities
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
Administer and document medications according to RCFE policies
Prepare and serve meals
Perform basic housekeeping, including laundry, cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and common areas
Monitor residents for changes in behavior or health and report concerns promptly
Redirect and de-escalate residents experiencing behavioral challenges using calm, respectful communication
Complete daily documentation, medication records, and incident reports as required
Accompany residents to appointments and activities as assigned
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment
Follow RCFE regulations, infection control procedures, and resident rights
Work as part of a team to provide compassionate, respectful, and quality care
Qualifications
Caregiving or RCFE experience preferred (training available for the right candidate)
Compassionate, patient, and dependable
Ability to remain calm and de-escalate difficult situations
Good communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
Must pass a background check and meet RCFE employment requirements
