    The Role:

    The ancillary sales team is a fun and unique position inside our venue. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for communicating to our guests about additional amenities that the venue has to offer, such as Premier parking and lawn chair rentals. This team will work closely with the Ancillary Manager to determine what offers will be available for each show, and how this will be communicated to our guests. It is the perfect position for someone who is detail oriented and enjoys working independently while still being part of a team.

    Job Functions:

    * Greet all guests and assist in answering any questions they may have about the venue.

    * Handle pre purchased lawn chairs and venue retail, as well as day of show rentals and purchases.

    * Communicate daily concert promotions, upsells, future ticket deals and specials to guests.

    * Assist Ancillary Manager in setting up and breaking down signs, tables and tents as needed.

    * Maintain order and ensure adherence to safety rules.

    * Handle credit card transactions according to Live Nation's audit guidelines.

    * Participate in post-show clean up including picking up lawn chairs, recycling and compostable materials.

    Qualifications:

    * Position requires constant walking, standing and occasional sitting in an outdoor environment in all weather conditions; lifting/carrying 25+ pounds.

    * High school diploma/GED preferred.

    * Must be at least 18 years of age.

    * Must pass pre-employment background check.

    * Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.

    * Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

    * Acute sense of judgement, tact and diplomacy.

    * Familiar with iPhone and iPad technology.

    * Attention to detail, quality and accuracy.

    * Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

    * Outgoing, engaging, self-starter.

    * Enjoys interacting with guests.

    * Ability to work weekdays, weekends and holidays, including late evenings.

    WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

    * Stay informed of current menu items and descriptions

    * Follow Special Events guidelines to ensure event success

    * Handle side duties including stocking ice bins, liquor, beer, wine, and coolers, including lifting/moving up to 25lbs.

    * Clean and assist with maintaining bar equipment

    * Perform opening/running/closing side duties according to LN policy

    * Put all trash and recyclable products in proper receptacles

    * Separate glass, cardboard, and plastics per local codes

    * Ensure responsible alcohol service per local ordinance and LN alcohol policies

    * Ensure that trash containers are clean, free of odor and lined

    WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

    * Works directly with the Director of Operations to perform day of show duties

    * Respond to all elevated staff/guest inquiries and or concerns regarding all VIP lounge reservations.

    * Work through and correct guest concerns and complaints regarding security and customer service-related situations

    * Follow up with Concessionaire AGM, and Director of Operations to ensure that service standards are met.

    * Perform opening/running/closing duties according to Live Nation policy.

    * Maintain line of sight/atmosphere control by circulating through work area and reporting any issues encountered

    * Supervise Operations staff and ensure staff receives their mandated rest and meal breaks.

    * Suggestive selling of all venue products and services when applicable.

    * Keep current on all Standard Operating Procedures and be able to effectively communicate them to team members.

    * Create pre-shift sheet and relay information from management directly to staff.

    * Turn in all lost and found articles to Guest Services.

    * Ensure responsible alcohol service per Responsible Alcohol Service training & Live Nation alcohol policies.

    * Ensure proper line of sight maintenance by all staff at all points of guest contact as well as maintaining the security of Back of House areas.

    * Communicate to M.O.D. any issues that guests or team members may have.

    * Work with the M.O.D. to resolve any and all guest issues- consults or involves management if the situation escalates.

    * Responsible for completing incident reports and collecting witness statements.

    * Assist MOD with all ejection logs and incident reports.

    * Assist MOD with all associated Vinyl Room paperwork.

    * Required to work Special Events that are scheduled throughout the venue.

    WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

    Required:

    * Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification or Equivalent

    * Food Safe Certification.

    * Working knowledge of high-volume nightclub operations, responsible alcohol service and guest relations.

    * Skills in guest relations/staff relations- Assessing and anticipating special needs of guests.

    * Prioritization of duties and effective communication skills.

    * Ability to handle multiple tasks/issues at one time effectively, with an upbeat attitude

    THE JOB

    Morton Amphitheater is seeking a Production Runner, responsible for various 'errands' and tasks associated with the talent and production of shows. Confidentiality is very critical to this role.

    WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

    * Coordinate and deliver food and beverage to the band or talent

    * Retrieve and deliver equipment, paperwork, etc.

    * Ensure stage and backstage areas are clean and free of clutter

    * Assist with any other aspect of stage production, such as show pass and guest list distribution

    * Assist Green Room Server with any needs of the artist

    * Perform opening/running/closing side duties according to company practice and policy

    * Have knowledge of all music, promotional or special events in the house

    * Handles multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while remaining pleasant and professional at all times

    WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

    * Must have a properly working automobile and provide proof of insurance

    * Must have an exceptional driving record

    * Must have knowledge of touring or stage production operations

    * High School diploma or equivalent

    * Ability to work late and extended hours

    * Flexible schedule

    * Excellent communication skills and punctual
