Duties
Restock shelves efficiently by organizing products and ensuring accurate placement according to merchandising standardsAssist customers with product inquiries, offering helpful recommendations and product demos when appropriateOperate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process transactions quickly and accurately, handling cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile paymentsMaintain clean and organized checkout areas, demonstrating professional phone etiquette and communication skillsUpsell relevant products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunitiesManage stock levels by monitoring inventory, conducting regular stock checks, and notifying management of low suppliesSupport merchandising efforts by setting up displays, arranging products attractively, and ensuring signage is clear and visibleSkills
Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures in a retail or grocery store environmentPrevious supervising or leadership experience is a plus, especially in overseeing stock or cashier teamsAbility to perform retail math accurately for transactions, pricing, and inventory countsStrong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanorBilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectivelyExperience conducting product demos to educate customers about features and benefitsExcellent communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette for engaging with customers and team membersKnowledge of merchandising techniques to create appealing displays that drive salesBasic math skills necessary for balancing registers and managing sales transactions efficientlyEmbark on a rewarding career where your energy makes a difference every day!
