Project Overview
This project seeks an experienced carpenter and mason to support ground-up construction of a new facility in Syracuse, NY. The work will be performed in person and requires expertise in both carpentry and masonry, with a focus on prevailing wage projects.
Scope of Work
Interpret and work from blueprints, specifications, and building codes Perform concrete work, including forming, pouring, and finishing Complete masonry tasks such as bricklaying, block work, and stone installation Execute carpentry work including framing, installation, and finishing Collaborate with other trades and project stakeholders to ensure quality and timely completion Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant worksite Assist with scope development and renovation as neededDeliverables, Timeline & Success Criteria
Completion of all assigned carpentry and masonry tasks according to project specifications and building codes High-quality concrete finishing and masonry work that meets industry standards Accurate and timely installation of framing and structural elements Adherence to prevailing wage requirements and project safety protocols Project duration and milestones will be finalized based on the agreed scope; timely progress and clear communication are expected throughout Success will be measured by the quality of workmanship, adherence to specifications, meeting project deadlines, and compliance with all relevant codes and standardsSalary:
Mason Salary:
- Base $40.78 plus Benefit $24.62 $65.4 per hour
Carpenter Salary
- Base $37.99 plus Benefit $22.67 $60.66 per hour
Required Skills & Qualifications

Daily Responsibilities:
Perform finish carpentry work on residential and commercial projects Read and interpret blueprints to execute construction plans Set up and dismantle scaffolding for safe working conditions Frame structures using various materials Install cabinetry and other fixturesRequired Skills:
Experience with hand tools and power tools Knowledge of remodeling techniques Ability to work with drywall and finishing materials Proficiency in woodworking and carpentry Understanding of blueprint reading and layoutNice to Have Skills:
Experience with tile installation Knowledge of fabricating and roofing Skills in concrete work and building maintenance Familiarity with personal protective equipment Basic plumbing installation abilitiesSalary and Benefits:
