ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Restoration Technician, you will perform hands-on water damage mitigation and mold remediation work under the direction of a Crew Chief or Project Manager.
We provide training and certifications from day one. Candidates with backgrounds in construction, maintenance, landscaping, cleaning, handyman work, or other hands-on trades are encouraged to apply.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Water Damage Mitigation
Extract water using pumps, wet vacuums, and extraction equipment Set up and monitor air movers, dehumidifiers, and air scrubbers Take moisture readings and document drying progress Perform light demolition of wet carpet, pad, drywall, baseboards, and trim Build containment using plastic sheeting and zipper doors
Mold Remediation
Establish negative-air containment Safely remove and bag affected materials Apply antimicrobial products and encapsulants HEPA-vacuum and clean surfaces Operate air filtration devices and maintain containment Document remediation progress
General Duties
Safely operate hand and power tools Clean, sanitize, and deodorize affected areas Handle customer belongings with care Communicate professionally with customers and team members Use mobile apps for photos, job notes, and documentation Maintain clean, organized, and safe jobsites Follow PPE, chemical-safety, and lifting procedures

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Lift and carry up to 75 lbs. Squat, kneel, crawl, and climb ladders Work in attics, crawl spaces, confined areas, and varied temperatures Wear respirators, Tyvek suits, gloves, and other PPE for extended periods
All required safety gear, tools, and equipment are provided.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
Hands-on or mechanically inclined background Strong work ethic and positive, team-oriented attitude Ability to follow detailed safety procedures Comfort using smartphones and mobile apps Professional communication and customer-service skills Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Construction, maintenance, handyman, or cleaning experience Restoration, remediation, or environmental-work experience Existing IICRC certifications
