Responsibilities:
Establish open lines of communication for individuals with mental or emotional issuesComplete Biopsychosocial AssessmentsIndividual Therapy, Group Therapy, Family TherapyOffer assistance to individuals with mental health and substance abuse issuesProvide prevention-oriented therapyImplement and review treatment plansCollaborate with additional treatment providers and placement agenciesEnsure all documentation is completed in a timely mannerQualifications:

Who you are:
You have experience in clinical assessment, individual therapy, family therapy and group support services.
Your are confident providing direct care outpatient mental health services
You know local Maryland resources to support individuals and families
You have strong interpersonal skills and are comfortable collaborating with multiple stakeholders and referral sources
You are pragmatic, yet curious and open-minded to exploring new ways of doing things
You have experience working with diverse populations and knowledge of trauma responsive evidenced base treatment services
Where you'll be:
Provide outpatient mental health services and assessments, individual therapy, group therapy, telehealth from one of our onsite locations Easton, Cambridge, or Salisbury.
Accomplishments You Need:
Maryland Board Licensed Mental Health Professional Counselor or Maryland Board (LMSW, LGPC, LGSW, LGADC, LCPC, LCSWC, LCADC required)
Willingness
Willingness to participate in professional development trainings annually
Maintain requirements of appropriate state licensure boards. Maryland State Board Licensed Required.
Supervision provided for LGPC, LMSW, LGSW, LGADC

We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dedicated Maryland Licensed Child & Adolescent Mental Health Counselor to join our growing clinical team.
Position Summary
The Child & Adolescent Mental Health Counselor provides individual, family, and group therapy to children and adolescents experiencing emotional, behavioral, social, and mental health challenges. The clinician will collaborate with families, schools, healthcare providers, and community partners to develop comprehensive treatment plans that support each client's emotional well-being and success.
Qualifications
Required:
Active Maryland clinical license in good standing (LCSW-C, LCPC, or LGPC/LMSW working under approved supervision)
Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field
Experience providing psychotherapy to children and adolescents
Knowledge of trauma-informed and evidence-based treatment practices
Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Ability to pass required background checks
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Preferred:
Experience working in outpatient mental health, school-based programs, or community behavioral health
Experience with trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, behavioral disorders, and family systems
Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments.
Develop individualized treatment plans.
Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy.
Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records.
Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychiatric rehabilitation staff, primary care providers, schools, and community agencies.
Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings.
Provide crisis intervention and safety planning as needed.
Complete documentation in accordance with CARF, COMAR, Medicaid, and agency standards.
Participate in clinical supervision, staff meetings, and ongoing professional development.
