Assistant Warehouse Manager Library Ideas has an opening for a full-time Assistant Warehouse Manager for its Chattanooga, Tennessee location. We’re looking for a detailed-oriented person to assist the warehouse manager in various managerial warehouse duties. About Library Ideas: Library Ideas is a book distributor with an office and warehouse within the city limits of Chattanooga. We transform traditional library services by integrating digital technology with physical books and media. We are leaders in digital content delivery for the library sector. Job Overview: Tasks are split equally between performing the day-to-day duties of a warehouse employee and assisting the Warehouse Manager in their role. Job duties include checking and reconciling inventory, quality control, the supervision and training of employees on the assembling, picking, packing and shipping of books with electronic readers. Will include other duties as assigned, up to and including working on warehouse floor with fellow employees to assist in the fulfillment of orders. This position reports to the Warehouse Manager and Chief Technology Officer. Anyone applying must be able to pass a Background Check to be eligible for an interview. Qualification Requirements: 18 years of age or older Have a high-school diploma, but Associate’s Degree or above is preferred.
