    PRIMARY FUNCTION OF POSITION:

    Leads the site's Quality organization and is accountable for developing, implementing, and continuously improving the Quality Management System to ensure customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. Provides leadership to the quality team, drives a culture of quality and continuous improvement, and partners cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and customers to improve product quality, manufacturing performance, and business results. Oversees all aspects of the quality lifecycle, including quality systems, customer quality, supplier quality, corrective actions, audits, and compliance with applicable industry standards.


    DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

    · Leads the Quality organization by establishing clear objectives, developing team capabilities, and fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer focus. Provides ongoing coaching, performance management, and professional development for salaried and hourly quality personnel.

    · Owns the site's Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with ISO and customer-specific requirements. Leads internal and external audits, management reviews, corrective actions, and continuous improvement of quality systems and processes.

    · Directs all Quality Assurance activities to ensure products consistently meet customer, regulatory, and company requirements. Oversees incoming, in-process, and final inspection, testing, nonconformance management, and corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes.

    · Serves as the primary customer quality representative, building strong customer relationships through quality reviews, audits, corrective action responses, performance reporting, and proactive communication to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

    · Partners with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Production to identify quality risks, improve process capability, reduce defects, and drive sustainable improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

    · Leads root cause investigations and structured problem-solving activities using Lean, Six Sigma, 8D, or other continuous improvement methodologies to improve quality performance and eliminate recurring issues.

    · Establishes and monitors quality performance metrics and KPIs, regularly reviewing results with leadership and implementing actions to improve customer quality, supplier quality, internal quality, and overall operational performance.

    · Manages supplier quality activities, including supplier qualification, performance monitoring, incoming quality requirements, corrective actions, and supplier development to ensure consistent material and component quality.

    · Oversees product inspection, testing, validation, and environmental or reliability testing activities, ensuring compliance with customer specifications, industry standards, and quality requirements.

    · Supports new product introduction, process validation, and manufacturing transfers by ensuring quality requirements are incorporated throughout product development and production launch.

    Requirements:

    SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

    · Demonstrated leadership and people development skills with experience building engaged, accountable quality teams and coaching both salaried and hourly employees to achieve high performance.

    · Strong working knowledge of ISO-based Quality Management Systems, including maintaining certifications, driving compliance, and continuously improving quality processes in a manufacturing environment. Experience with AS9100 or ISO13485 a plus.

    · Experience supporting machining, assembly, and/or electronics manufacturing with the ability to identify quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.

    · Proven continuous improvement mindset with practical experience applying Lean, Six Sigma, or other problem-solving methodologies to improve quality, reduce waste, and enhance operational performance.

    · Strong customer communication and relationship management skills with experience participating in customer audits, quality reviews, corrective action responses, and issue resolution.

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

    · Bachelor's degree preferred in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related field.

    · Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in quality leadership within a manufacturing environment.

    · Proven success leading and developing both salaried and hourly quality teams.

    · Demonstrated experience supporting machining, assembly, or electromechanical manufacturing operations preferred.

    · Experience serving customers in the semiconductor and/or Aerospace & Defense industries is highly desirable.

    PRIMARY FUNCTION OF POSITION:

    The Buyer (Supply Chain Specialist) is responsible for procuring and expediting raw materials (including aluminum, stainless steel, miscellaneous metals) and outside services required to support production. This role manages supplier relationships, negotiates pricing and lead times, monitors supplier performance, and ensures material availability through Lean Manufacturing, Kanban, Just-in-Time (JIT), and MRP planning methodologies.

    Working independently and collaboratively with Supply Chain, Planning, Production, Engineering, Quality, and Program Management, the Buyer supports customer commitments while driving continuous improvements in cost, quality, delivery, and operational performance.


    DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

    Procure raw materials, components, and outside services to support manufacturing and production schedules while meeting quality, cost, and delivery objectives.Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure quality, responsiveness, competitive pricing, and on-time delivery.Negotiate pricing, lead times, and other commercial terms with approved suppliers.Expedite purchase orders and proactively communicate delivery updates, delays, and recovery plans to Program Managers and internal stakeholders.Quote material costs from customer Bills of Material (BOMs) for Requests for Quotation (RFQs), including piece pricing, minimum order quantities, and supplier lead times.Monitor inventory levels and purchasing trends to optimize inventory while minimizing shortages, excess inventory, and obsolete material.Collaborate with Production, Planning, Engineering, Quality, and Program Management to resolve material shortages, supplier issues, and production constraints.Maintain accurate purchasing data, supplier information, and purchase order records within the ERP/MRP system.Verify and maintain purchasing quality records in accordance with Libra Industries' Quality Management System.Analyze Purchase Price Variance (PPV) and provide accurate cost reporting on purchased materials.Monitor supplier performance and participate in supplier development and continuous improvement initiatives.Identify root causes of supplier, product, or process issues and implement corrective actions.Complete assigned projects using appropriate project management and communication tools while supporting Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the Supply Chain department.

    PRIMARY FUNCTION OF POSITION:

    The Estimator serves as the analytical bridge between customer requirements and profitable execution at Libra Industries. This role is responsible for developing accurate, competitive cost models across our manufacturing capabilities including precision machining, electromechanical manufacturing, systems integration, and PCB assembly for customers in aerospace, defense, medical, semiconductor, and industrial markets.

    Working closely with Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, and Quality, the Estimator owns the full quote lifecycle from RFQ receipt through production handoff. We are looking for a seasoned manufacturing professional who leverages data-driven decision making, embraces modern estimating tools, and brings a continuous improvement mindset to everything they do.


    DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

    Analyze RFQ packages, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of material, and statements of work to develop detailed cost estimates. Develop comprehensive cost models including labor, materials, outside services, tooling, overhead, and other cost drivers. Apply knowledge of machining, fabrication, assembly, PCB manufacturing, finishing, and testing processes to develop accurate manufacturing costs. Utilize AI-assisted estimating tools, digital quoting platforms, ERP/MRP systems, and data analytics applications to improve estimating efficiency and accuracy. Perform quote-to-quote comparisons, variance analysis, and actual-to-estimate reviews to continuously improve estimating models. Evaluate make-versus-buy decisions, material alternatives, volume break pricing, and other cost optimization opportunities. Partner with Sales and Business Development teams to identify technical, commercial, and operational risks prior to quote submission. Support Design for Manufacturability (DFM) reviews and provide cost-related recommendations during early customer engagement. Lead quote review meetings with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to align assumptions, risks, and pricing strategies. Collaborate with Supply Chain to identify strategic sourcing opportunities, long-lead material risks, and supplier cost reductions. Maintain accurate quote records, revision histories, customer communications, and opportunity tracking within ERP, CRM, and estimating systems. Monitor quote win/loss performance and analyze market trends to support competitive pricing strategies. Identify opportunities to improve estimating processes through automation, AI applications, advanced analytics, and continuous improvement initiatives. Support implementation and adoption of new estimating technologies, tools, and best practices throughout the organization.


    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

    Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Technology, Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Technology, or a related field; equivalent manufacturing experience will be considered. Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in estimating, manufacturing engineering, cost analysis, or related manufacturing disciplines. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes including CNC machining, fabrication, assembly, PCB manufacturing, testing, and finishing operations. Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, GD&T, specifications, bills of material, and manufacturing documentation. Hands-on experience utilizing ERP/MRP systems for labor costing, routing development, BOM management, and production planning. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools. Experience performing cost analysis, make/buy analysis, variance analysis, and pricing strategy development. Strong understanding of manufacturing cost drivers and financial impacts associated with production operations.


    SKILLS/EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

    Experience within aerospace, defense, medical device, semiconductor, EMS, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments. Comfortable adopting and learning new estimating technologies, including AI-assisted tools and digital quoting platforms; experience with these is a plus but not required. A forward-thinking, solutions-oriented mindset with a willingness to participate in process improvement initiatives, including the evaluation and implementation of emerging estimating tools and automation technologies. Proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives and implementing data-driven solutions. Forward-thinking mindset with the ability to translate emerging technologies into practical business applications.
