Electrical Project Manager (Non-Union)

We are partnered with a growing, non-union electrical contractor in Central New Jersey with a strong reputation across commercial and industrial work. With a steady pipeline of projects and repeat clients, they are looking to bring on an experienced Electrical Project Manager who can take ownership of projects and keep things moving efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Manage multiple electrical construction projects across the Central & Northern New Jersey areas, averaging $100K – $3M dollarsOversee projects from kickoff through closeoutManage submittals, RFIs, change orders, procurement, scheduling, and billingWork directly with field teams, clients, and general contractorsEnsure projects stay on time, on budget, and run smoothlyReview plans/specs and proactively solve issues before they become problemsBuild and maintain relationships with repeat clients and partnersWhat we are looking for:
Five- ten plus (5–10+) years of experience in electrical project managementBackground with a commercial or industrial electrical contractor (non-union experience preferred)Strong understanding of NJ construction practices and fast-paced project environmentsAbility to manage multiple projects without losing control of detailsExperience with job costing, budgeting, and schedulingFamiliarity with tools like Procore, Bluebeam, Accubid, or similarSomeone who is accountable, responsive, and comfortable working in a non-union settingWhat qualified applicants will receive:

Electrical Contracting – Electrical Construction (Commercial & Industrial)
We are seeking a motivated Electrical Estimator with 1–5 years of experience to join a growing commercial/industrial electrical contracting team. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in estimating and preconstruction, working on projects typically ranging in the $100K to $3 Million dollar area.
You will support senior estimators and project teams in preparing accurate, competitive bids while gaining exposure to a wide range of electrical construction projects.
This is a strong opportunity for someone earlier in their career to learn from senior team members, gain exposure to larger projects, and grow into a high-impact role within a reputable electrical contractor.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in preparing accurate cost estimates and bid proposals for commercial and industrial electrical projectsPerform quantity takeoffs from drawings, specifications, and bid documentsAnalyze blueprints, electrical plans, and project specificationsSolicit and review vendor and subcontractor quotesSupport the development of labor, material, and equipment cost estimatesUse estimating software (e.g., Accubid, ConEst, McCormick) to build estimatesCollaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teamsParticipate in pre-bid meetings and site walks as neededHelp maintain and update cost databases and historical pricingAssist in bid leveling, scope review, and value engineering opportunitiesQualifications
1–5 years of experience in electrical estimating or electrical construction (field experience is a plus)Knowledge of commercial and/or industrial electrical systemsAbility to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and one-line diagramsFamiliarity with estimating software such as Accubid, ConEst, or McCormickProficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office SuiteStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsEffective communication and teamwork abilitiesUnderstanding of NEC codes and construction practicesExperience working for an electrical contractor / electrical construction firmExposure to projects such as:Office buildingsWarehouses / distribution centersManufacturing facilitiesHealthcare or institutional buildingsWhat We Offer
