    Lexington Christian Academy is accepting applications for the position of part-time North Campus Cook for the 2026-2027 academic year, beginning in August 2026. The North Campus Cook is responsible for the cooking, kitchen cleaning, and preparation of hot meals and ready-to-eat foods on North Campus during dinner service throughout the academic year. The position is part time, with typical hours from 3:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. However, hours may vary due to the needs of the students and special events. Main Campus shifts may also be expected of the North Campus cook from time to time.

    RESPONSIBILITIES


    Food Preparation and Service

    Prepare and cook dinner during the weekdays at the North Campus dorm during the academic year when school is in session

    Work alongside the Executive Chef in the preparation and design of all food and drinks menus

    Read and follow recipes

    Ensures quality standards in food prep and presentation are always observed

    Consistently follows standard portion control, food safety, and sanitation protocols

    Inspects all equipment at beginning and end of shift to ensure proper safe function

    Pull and prepare food for following days

    Receive, store and rotate inventory

    Serve food to students and staff residing at North Campus


    Professionalism

    Arrive for shifts clean, presentable, and in a work appropriate uniform

    Work with North Campus kitchen support staff in the opening and closing of the kitchen every day

    Perform end of day cleaning of the kitchen, as well as maintaining a clean work environment during the shift

    Complete some tasks independently as well as close the kitchen at the end of the night


    QUALIFICATIONS

    3-5 years cooking experience

    Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures

The MarCom Coordinator is responsible for implementing unified, results-driven marketing and communications for the school. This is a highly cross-functional role, working with Admissions, Development, Auxiliary Programs, and other cross-functional teams within the organization.     RESPONSIBILITIES


    Marketing

    Marketing Plan—facilitate the development and management of a comprehensive marketing plan for the school. This includes working with the Advancement team to identify goals and objectives, conduct market research, develop an implementation plan, measure impact.

    [ADMISSIONS] Inbound Marketing— Manage HubSpot, and use the CRM to run email campaigns, create landing pages, run organic social media (Facebook/Instagram), write blog posts, all with the goal of showing LCA as a thought-leader in Private Christian Education in New England. Target parents who are top-of-funnel, and lead them into our admissions funnel.

    [ALL DEPTS} Outbound Marketing

    Social Media Advertising: Execute on priorities identified to generate increased awareness and for the school, increase inquiries for enrollment, and promote LCAx programming.

    Oversee Google Ads and Paid Search Campaigns: Utilize web-based marketing strategies to increase the online presence for the school including the effective use of social media sites and search engine optimization

    Leverage LCA constituents to promote LCA and its programs

    Lexington Christian Academy Brand— Work with leadership to establish and maintain an effective brand for all LCA programming. Work with the Advancement Team to establish and enforce brand standards; review and approve all collateral and web-based communications.

    Web Master

    Website Maintenance: regularly update content, facilitate updates and improvements.


    Communications

    Communication Plan– facilitate the development of a comprehensive communication plan for the school, and make sure all faculty and staff are aware of the process for communication.

    Internal Communications—Work with faculty & staff responsible for ongoing communications to ensure there is a consistent, timely and compelling flow of internal communications. This includes mailings, the website, the Lantern, Facebook, email, the Link, etc.

    External Communications— Provide a regular flow of external marketing communications to all constituent groups through the use of mailings, the school’s website, Facebook and other social media sites, email newsletters and other strategies. Establish a consistent brand, high satisfaction, and facilitate the potential for effective word-of-mouth marketing.

    North Campus – intentionally support the North Campus leadership team with communications infrastructure. Parent newsletters, Main Campus communication coordination, internal marketing to students.

    Development - support the Development Office and LCA fundraising efforts with effective, differentiated communication strategies and workflows

    Develop DevComm workflows alongside HOS and Sr Director of Development

    Story Telling—tell the Lexington Christian Academy story through effective writing, speaking, and videos. Work with and oversee external videographer and editing specialists.

    Content Creation—actively participate in regular creation of content for the various marketing and communications vehicles. Coordinate all design projects, ensuring all content is designed to a level of excellence


    Student Engagement

    Student Media Team - oversee and facilitate a team of students to take photographs, design graphics, and create content for LCA social media and other communications


    Teamwork

    Advancement Team Meeting: Once a week ensuring Development, Admissions, and leadership are on the same page with Marketing efforts.

    Regularly meet with Development, Admissions, Principal, and HOS about

    communication & marketing.

    CalCom Meeting: Meet with Head of School (and other leadership) once a week to collect important information and put out an internal communication email newsletter to faculty, staff with important information, as well as manage and review events on the calendar.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Academic Advising:

    Serve as the primary Academic Advisor for students in Grade 6-8, building meaningful relationships and monitoring academic progress, executive functioning development, and overall school engagement

    Meet with each student individually each trimester to review academic progress, identify performance trends, conduct root-cause analysis of challenges, set SMART goals, and address areas of opportunity and concern

    Utilize academic, attendance, behavioral, and executive functioning data to identify trends, monitor student progress, and proactively intervene when concerns emerge

    Develop and monitor Academic Improvement Plans (AIPs) in collaboration with the supervisor, utilizing the existing LCA template, for students who require additional academic support

    Maintain and update each student’s academic profile, documenting progress, strengths, growth areas, interventions, and support plans throughout Grade 6-8

    Support students through the transition into middle school by building relationships, establishing academic routines, fostering self-advocacy, and connecting students to available resources

    Partner with parents, teachers, and members of the Office of Student Success and Wellness to communicate student progress, coordinate support strategies, and promote student success


    Student Skill Development:

    Facilitate executive functioning workshops and developmental programming that build age-appropriate skills and habits across the middle school years, including being the primary teacher for the Grade 6 Executive Functioning class and the 7th and 8th-grade seminar courses

    Continuously assess, refine, and improve executive functioning curriculum and programming based on student data, outcomes, and feedback

    Assess individual students’ strengths and growth areas to inform personalized learning support

    Collaborate with teachers and members of the Office of Student Success and Wellness on strategies that support executive functioning and student success across the academic environment

    Provide families with tools and resources to reinforce executive functioning skills and independent learning habits at home


    Team & Community Support:

    Participate in regular team meetings within the Office of Student Success and Wellness to ensure coordinated and collaborative student support

    SCHEDULE: Camp training & orientation is June 15th & June 16th, 2026. Apart from our specialty camps, staff are asked to work a majority of the 8 weeks of camp. There is no camp on July 3rd due to the 4th of July holiday weekend. Camp staff need to arrive each day at 7:30AM and are expected to stay until 3:30PM, unless working AfterCamp.
