Welders will be working with a small crew traveling across Florida working in clients sites. Ideal candidates will be flexible to work morning or night shift when needed, available to work overtime, and can pass a Stick and Tig test.


    We have 1 position in shop if traveling is not desired. For traveling welders, having a clear Motor Vehicle Report is ideal. Per-diem will be provided.


    Daily duties:

    Perform stick and tig welding following blueprints and schematics accurately.Operate power tools, hand tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and machining equipment to shape and prepare materials for welding.Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to determine weld locations, specifications, and procedures.Perform fabrication tasks including cutting, bending (using press brakes), assembly, and rigging for construction or manufacturing projects.Use calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to ensure precision in dimensions and fit-up of welded parts.Maintain safety standards by adhering to OSHA regulations and company policies during all operations.Support quality control by inspecting welds visually and with non-destructive testing methods to meet ASME codes & standards.Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while ensuring high-quality workmanship.


    Requirements:

    2 years of Stick welding, TIG weldingStrong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and fabrication processes.Able to bend, squat, and stand for long periods of hours.Able to lift up to 65 pounds comfortably.Experience with rigging techniques for lifting heavy components safely.


    Monday to Friday (Occasional Weekends)

    - Properly silicone, screw, and solder components to avoid burning, cracking or damaging components.
    - Test all assembly to ensure it works properly before sending to the next department.
    - Program drivers per instructions to ensure they have the correct power output for each order.
    - Report components not performing as they should to purchasing and technical lab.
    - Observe and follow safety guidelines specific to your work area.
    - Maintain workspace and assigned tools clean and orderly - daily and weekly.

    Required experience & qualifications:

    - Experience soldering low-power components.
    - Experience assembling low voltage electronic components.
    - Experience using basic hand and power tools.
    - Can use a multi-meter and properly test low-voltage components.
    - Able to read and follow work orders, wiring diagrams, and basic technical drawings.
    - Good communication and positive attitude.

    Physical Demands:
    - Ability to select, lift, carry, and stack product weighing between 15 and 35 pounds.
    - Able to sit at a workstation for 8 hours, with breaks while occasionally bending, stooping, and twisting and do repetitive work 2 to 4 hours at a time.
    - This position requires manual dexterity and constant use of hands to assemble using manual and power tools.
    - Excellent hand/eye coordination to solder and assemble small components
