    Location: Portland, OR

    Overview

    This role involves hands-on mechanical work on vessels and in a shipyard environment supporting the installation, maintenance, and repair of marine propulsion systems and heavy machinery. Work includes precision alignment, equipment installation, and troubleshooting mechanical systems to OEM and engineering standards.

    This is a skilled trade position working on complex vessel systems in a fast-paced marine repair and construction environment in Portland.

    We are seeking a local CDL A truck driver, who can safely operate a truck weighing 26,000 Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW)


    Toledo, Ohio / NO TOUCH FREIGHT ~ INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR HOME IMPROVEMENT and BUILDER CONTRUCTION PRODUCTS


    Conestoga — essentially a flatbed with a retractable tarp/curtain system rolled over the top (sometimes called a curtain-side trailer). It loads/unloads like a flatbed- Home improvement materials,Interior and Exterior. No steel coils or heavy industrial materials.

     

    PAY: Based on experience between $28-$36hr

     

    HOME DAILY: Typical shifts 8-10hrs pending routes, Toledo, Ohio based.

     

    WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

    Based out of our Toledo segment, our CDL-A Truck Drivers pick up goods from our suppliers and deliver them to our customers, building and solidifying strong business relationships. They may also transfer goods between our locations. Day-to-day responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    · Loading Products – Loading and unloading trailers using tie down straps and operating side curtain trailers.

    · Securing Orders – Properly securing all material loaded on their truck.

    · Staying Compliant – Properly maintaining their supplied CMV ensuring compliance with required mechanical maintenance per DOT regulations.

    · Ensuring Safety – Following all DOT and Company safety regulations.

    · Teamwork – Building and maintaining strong relationships with all those they come in contact with, including customers, suppliers, fellow employee owners and patrons on the road.

    Our business is built on relationships. It's crucial that the person selected to fill this role is a safety-minded team player who gets energy from contributing to collaborative success.

     

    This position offers a $300 annual clothing allowance to offset costs for work apparel and $150 for protective footwear and PPE

    Key Qualifications/Requirements

    ** Minimum of 2yrs exp with Automatic**

    · High School diploma/GED required.

    · CDL Class A license with a clean driving record and current verifiable DOT Certs and Physical

    · Ability to operate a forklift (trailer loading experience a plus).

    · Ability to do physical labor including lifting of up to 75lbs
