    Within our Corporate Supply Chain team located in Denver – Leprino is seeking a Demand Planner (Or Senior-level dependent on the right candidate) to lead the development of accurate, data-driven demand forecasts across our product portfolio. This role sits at the center of the demand planning process, partnering with Sales, Finance, and Marketing to align on a consensus view of demand and translate market signals into actionable insights. You will analyze trends, challenge assumptions, and continuously improve forecast accuracy to support effective decision-making across S OP, inventory strategy, and network planning. At Leprino, starting compensation for a Demand Planner -level typically ranges between $73,000 and $81,000, with an annual target bonus of 5% . For a Senior Demand Planner , starting compensation typically ranges between $90,000 and $102,000 with an annual target bonus of 10%. Please note final level is determined by Leprino based on experience and fit. What You'll Do: Develop demand forecast at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of a demand planning function. Coordinate cross functional consensus forecast by working with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Research and Development, Leadership, and customers to reconcile significant variances and to provide up to date coordination of sales plans. Review trends that impact demand drivers such as historical sales, markets, industry trends, and global economics. Develop and maintain quantitative statistical forecast models to improve demand forecasting results. Effectively communicate demand plans to Supply Planning and S OP and provide input into inventory strategies on existing, new products and product phase outs as well as participate in product category constraints planning. Maintain Demand Planning systems and foster continuous improvement and increase in forecast accuracy Identify drivers of forecast error, conduct root cause analysis, and implement process improvements to increase accuracy Challenge inputs and assumptions when demand signals conflict or lack support Navigate ambiguity in data and make informed forecasting decisions with incomplete information Drive demand planning for high-volume dairy ingredients across a complex product portfolio You Have At Least (Required Qualifications): Bachelor's degree in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, or Supply Chain with a minimum of 3 (for Demand Planner-level) - 5 (For Senior Demand Planner level) years of experience in Demand Planning Demonstrated proficiency in forecasting methods and accuracy measures with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts Excellent communications skills required with the ability to communicate appropriately with all levels Proven ability to leverage technology and systems to drive efficient and effective reporting and processes Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously to achieve results Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel Skills (e.g., pivot tables, formulas and macros) We Hope You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications): A master's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Operations Management. Experience within food or dairy manufacturing environments. An APICS CPIM certification or active progress toward certification. Experience with MSBI, Power BI, and Power Pivot. Working knowledge of processing or packaging systems, including equipment operations and troubleshooting. Strong computer proficiency and the ability to learn systems such as SAP or other manufacturing software. Able to work weekends, swing, and overnight shifts. This position has an annual target bonus of 15% What You'll Do: Build, update, and deliver site-specific safety training for new hires, leaders, and hourly teams. Write and refresh safety curriculum that reflects plant operations, equipment, and real risks. Coordinate monthly safety topics and support leaders with effective training delivery. Make safety visible across the facility through signage, campaigns, and regular floor presence. Perform routine hazard recognition walks across production, utilities, and maintenance areas. Guide pre-use inspections for PITs, ladders, hoists, and fall protection equipment. Track corrective actions, permits, and safety work orders through completion. You Have At Least (Required Qualifications): Bachelor's degree in Safety Management or a closely related discipline, or equivalent industry experience. 8+ years of experience in safety roles, with substantial experience in manufacturing. 2+ years of people leadership experience. Working knowledge of OSHA CFR 29 1910 General Industry Standards. Experience supporting injury management and workers' compensation processes.
