    Production Supervisor Within our 600-person manufacturing facility in Roswell Leprino is seeking a Production Supervisor (Cheese) to move our organization to even larger levels of dairy ingredient growth! What You'll Do: Lead and support a team of hourly employees in our Cheese Department, ensuring consistent product quality, team safety, and efficient production each shift! Plan and schedule daily staffing to meet production goals while maintaining a safe, collaborative work environment. Guide, mentor, and develop team members through coaching, feedback, and ongoing technical and safety training. Build a culture of trust and teamwork by communicating clearly and recognizing performance that makes a difference! Supervise daily shift operations to meet or exceed established standards for productivity, yield, and product quality. Partner with maintenance and quality teams to identify equipment needs and ensure timely repairs that keep production moving. Reinforce company policies consistently and fairly while encouraging accountability and engagement. Oversee quality systems and sanitation programs that meet all food safety expectations and regulatory requirements. Promote and lead safe work practices every day, ensuring employees have the tools and training they need to perform their jobs safely. Monitor financial and operational performance, recommending improvements that enhance efficiency and reduce waste. You Have At Least (Required Qualifications): A bachelor's degree in Food Science, Dairy Technology, or a related field or equivalent work experience. 5+ years of experience in food manufacturing, with at least 1 year of experience leading, mentoring, or delegating work to others. Working knowledge of processing or packaging systems, including equipment operations and troubleshooting. Strong computer proficiency and the ability to learn systems such as SAP or other manufacturing software. Able to work weekends, swing, and overnight shifts.     Production Team Lead The Cheese Team Lead is responsible to ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and safe work practices are followed by all department employees in the efficient operation and production of quality products throughout the Cheese Department. A minimum of six months is necessary to become proficient in the cheese production operations from Milk Receiving through Bulk Pack, including HTST, vats, mixer, brine tanks, CIP systems, milk receiving, P2, DMC, and Noltec. The Cheese Foreperson position is a working foreperson and must be capable of disassembly, assembling and making minor adjustments to all cheese production equipment. Schedule: Leprino Foods is a 24/7 operating facility; this position is a vacation relief, shifts will vary depending on company needs. Pay Rate: $31.45 per hour $1 per hour weekend differential for all hours worked between 12:01am Saturday morning through 11:59pm Sunday night $0.75 shift differential for all evening hours worked between 6pm and 5:59 am any day of the week. Responsibilities: Train employees regarding SOP's, GMP's, proper sanitation, safe work practices, good housekeeping, etc. and enforce these policies and practices throughout the department. Interpret production related data and make production decisions based on the data. Know all job functions of the Cheese Department positions. Perform hourly walkthroughs of department to check temperatures, calibrations and maintain accurate records. Troubleshoot equipment problems and follow up to ensure efficient operation. Monitor the extraneous program. Communicate effectively with other operators, department management, and representatives from other departments. Requirements: Must be 18 years of age Effective verbal and written communication skills Basic familiarity with all aspects of the cheese department operations including Milk Receiving through Bulk Pack, including HTST, vats, mixer, brine tanks, CIP systems, milk receiving, P2, DMC, and Noltec. Must be able to work Sunday - Saturday, off-shifts, weekends, holidays, and required overtime to support a 24 hour/7-day operation. Preferred skills: Experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred. Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Familiarity or ability to learn SAP, or similar integrated manufacturing system.
